My name is Janelle Koylass and I attend Polytechnic Sixth Form Government School. I am doing my Communication Studies Internal Assessment based on the ‘Effects of Electronic Media on Teenagers.’ I have chosen this topic as I found it very interesting because of the great change and increase with electronic media in today’s young society. It has become so advanced and popular that it has changed the generation in so many ways. My target audience was teenagers between the ages of 16-19 years of age. Next, they were asked if they were addicted to any of the devices and out of the twenty teens only two males and four females said yes. This proves my theory that they are in denial. This brought me to my next question asking how many times per day do they use electronic media. 40% of the females said they spend more than ten hours while the other 10% said they only use it for at least ten hours. Whereas, 10% of the males said five hours, another 10% said ten hours and the rest was more than ten hours. This
