The day I became a hero My friend and I sat for lunch after a busy half day. We were pretty late and most of the known restaurants had closed down, for their short afternoon break. As we ordered our lunch, He started discussing a trip we were planning to take by the beginning of the coming week. My friend decided to join me on my business trip. We needed to finalize tickets and hotel bookings, which I was not bothered with, as I had a million things to do and this trip was the last thing on my mind. "Work is work" he pressed on. I sat there listening to him. "They have done so well for themselves. Their father owns companies in so many countries and he keeps visiting them leaving his children to take care of the business in the head-office." I was quite taken by such an action. Oh how I would give to have my business ideas work at my whim and command! Above all I thought what I would give to have the courage this man had to be able to achieve so much. I wished I could be brave enough and say to myself: Yes, you can do something because you want to. Because you can. We are all dreamers and we can all be creative, we are all business minded, and most of us have successful business ideas. What makes one stop creating? I felt desperate for a moment that day, a desperate yearning for that comfort and that courage. My day passed on as I occupied myself with the million things I had to do. Work piled up as the clock ticked my day away. We met up again for dinner that evening. He picked me up from my daily
