Everyone looks different on the outside, why make them be the same on the inside? All of the scholars we cherish today were the ones that weren’t poisoned by the system and were able to break through. These people were able to create their own sense of thinking and become global icons that everyone strives to become, but they never can. The American education should be considered a gem compared to other nations. Just ask Kyoko Mori.
Weimar’s condition suggests that the fundamental problems inherited from war and the crisis has not been resolved. They persisted, do that the crisis set in during 1929-30 the Weimar republic did not probe strong enough to withstand the storm. Politically, Germany was quite stable after 1923 as it had become more peaceful: there were no attempted coups from the right or left in 1924-29, no major political figures were assassinated; extremists did not gain mass support. The elections gave some encouraging signs to supporters of the republic as there was an actual rise in votes and it seemed like most of the German population was in agreement with having a republic as when the economic situation stabilized in 1924, the Germans were able to switch back to voting for the main democratic parties. Also the election of Hindenburg in 1925 was very good in the fact that he did nothing unconstitutional and abided by his oath to uphold the constitution – just by having a pro-republican head the government was reassuring for everyone as they did not have to run the risk of going left or right meaning complete submission and denial of the republic making Germany vulnerable and in danger again.

Collins (2001) assesses that the “vast majority of companies never become great because the vast majority become quite good, and that is their main problem” (p. 3). The goal of the research team is to figure out why some companies proceed to achieve greatness and others just remain good. This undertaking meant taking 1,435 Fortune 500 companies where only those that incur a transition from good companies to great companies. From this pool of companies only 11 companies met the strict criterion that entails a company of experiencing greatness. Philosophical Assumptions The book evaluates several philosophical assumptions of what it takes to transform a company from good to great.
The expression "learn from our mistakes" is true in this situation. Through out human life there have been many mistakes on how we should live and believe in things, those mistakes were negative things but also positive. When Thomas Edison was trying to invent the light bulb he failed over two Mit Amin hundred times but when told that he said "i didn't fail two hundred times, I found two hundred ways not to make a light bulb, I only need to find one right way." That is the same with
Most Albums released in the early 90s would never even be made, much less released by major labels these days. Even the underground rapper of today pales in comparison to them. Yet another reason why that era was the best in hip-hop, regardless of the region. This is from the era where hip hop was feared by the mainstream... Now we have white pop singers (Timberlake) dissin "hip hop elite" on national television with no fear of retribution... I was watching the LA Riots special the other day and just thinking about who crushed our rebellious spirit and made us assimilate without a fight?
Don't worry, I made sure to find out their realnames first, and I'm well aware that Frykowski wouldn't be there because hewasn't an American citizen. I'm still very bothered by this finding because in myown experience (people I know who have died) the death index is 99% accurate. If the only people I knew in my life who died, where the victims of the Mansonfamily, that database would seem to have only a 1 percent accuracy rate. That'sa huge discrepancy. I will never know short of going grave digging why it is thatthere names are missing from this seemingly accurate database. This finding of mine took place about 4 to 6 months
Matt Jones 4/11/13 Biggest Moral Issue in America The biggest moral issue in America is the mistreatment of others. I know this is a very general issue but bear with me. The gold rule I feel for the most part is dead… no one treats others how they want to be treated. We treat others in a way that we make ourselves feel elevated. I have never met a person, male or female, black or white, smart or dumb, that has ever said “I want to be second best.” We all want to feel that we are accomplished.
Lynley Price Professor Burke GSWS 201 March 7, 2014 Being White Privileged As Wayne Dyer, an American self-help writer and motivational speaker, once said, “judgments prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances” (Racism Quotes and Sayings 1). I have never been a big fan of racism, putting down, or even judging others based on their ethnicity. Some of my best friends are of different ethnicities, so while writing this paper, as a white woman, I was thinking a lot about how I benefit from “white privilege”. “White privilege” refers to a set of societal privileges that white people benefit from beyond those commonly experienced by people of color in the same social, political, or economic spaces (White Privilege 1). A key element of white privilege is simply not having to think about race, not having to think about my color and how people are going to respond to me
Though limited with the inability of being able to capture the movement with the daguerreotype, Herman’s photograph allows for the one of the first documentations of a tragedy that occurred in Germany. With time, photography advanced and the limitations were close to none. Over the next one hundred and sixty years, recording history with the camera became a popular form of documenting history. We can read about history in the books, but nothing comes close to seeing a photograph of a scene from history. The perspective is far more tangible than words can describe.
