She is the highest-paid model on earth since 2.004. Gisele has proved her true excellence as a supermodel with her catwalk in the best-known fashion shows since she was a teenager. Are you asking yourself what is a supermodel? Well the term refers to a highly-paid fashion model who has a worldwide reputation. Supermodels usually work for top fashion designers and famous clothing brands. They have multi-million dollar contracts, endorsements and campaigns. Claudia Schiffer once said “in order to become a supermodel one must be in all covers all over the word at the same time so that people can recognize the girls”. Have you ever dreamed about becoming a supermodel? It seems to be a great job, but as in every job there is a positive and a negative side, so let’s find out what they are. The positive side of the job is that it allow you to travel all over the world, visiting places you would not have seen otherwise, like paradise island, where the hottest swimsuit photo-shoots had taken place. But the really great thing about being a supermodel is the large amount of money that you can earn; an example of this is the 25 million dollar contract that Gisele Bundchen singed with Victoria´s Secret, the popular lingerie company. Another advantage of being a supermodel is the gift. It is very common that brands like Louis Vuitton sends its new bags to supermodels as a present , because they know that there is no better publicity for a bag that a supermodel carrying it. The down side of the job is that is not for everybody, you had to be born to be a model, if you do not have the material (beautiful face, perfect body, at least 1.80 meter tall, etc.) you cannot be a model.
