Schooling life is a important part to all of the teenagers. Since they start their school life, every day they meet their classmates and teachers more than their parents. The “A” students have good performance in all of the test, teachers love them. But they don't have friends in school nor clubs. Isn't it a big problem we have to worried about?
One implication is there is a gradual increase of responsibility for the teacher. Through courageous conversations teachers are having with collegial coaches and their peers, teachers are taking charge of their classrooms, and not waiting for the administrator or mentor to give advice. Teachers are answering open-ended question from coaches and peers and making self-reflections that are having positive impacts in their classrooms. The second implication is the courageous conversations that the teachers are having in their buildings. Teachers are coming out of their classrooms and meeting with other teachers and sharing strategies, and asking questions that have other teachers thinking about how to have more successful classroom experiences.
The technical convention of close-up shots is used to show the importance of education through the facial expressions which show desperation, anger and joy of the families of children applying for charter schools. During the final scenes of the documentary, we learn that some children were accepted and some were not. This makes the reader sympathize with the children who were not accepted. The symbolic convention of body language is used to show the importance of education through Ruby’s actions in the isolated classroom. On the seventh page of the book, Ruby is focused on doing her work in an isolated classroom; Ruby seemed to ignore the fact that she was isolated and fully immersed herself in her textbooks.
Another way that this homework policy helps promote positive social interaction inside a second grade classroom is when graded assignments not picked up within two days should be discussed with the teacher. This discussion allows the student to explain the reason why the homework was not picked up and provide valuable opinions as to how this problem can be prevented in the future. A2. Self-Motivation The homework policy also includes that students buy a day planner and use class time learning how to use it. The use of the day planner promotes self-motivation because the students are learning how to manage their time in school and at home to be able to complete their homework.
She says her two classified students are very open about their home life, which makes it easy for her to recognize distant setting events and antecedents or present setting events. She said she does not really want to discuss any specific events for classified reasons, but she says that both of her students are very affected by distant setting events and that she and her staff usually spend a great deal of time in the morning trying to calm her students down and make them feel more comfortable. She also mentions that things like the weather can also trigger behaviors. As for antecedents within the classroom, Ms. Watkins says that while she and her staff do their best to prevent these types of situations, there will always be something unaccounted for that can trigger a behavior. She says that when dealing with such sensitive children, it is extremely, and she emphasized extremely important to be aware of the child’s surroundings at all times in order to provide them with the most safe and successful learning environment.
Learning to how to listen is a core; it should be a part of children’s education. If people know how to listen to the other people, it will help people have a good communication with other people. In the workplace, listening to the people it is means to respect to the other people. With the economy developing, more and more people don’t care how much the food and they always waste food. Because parents love their children, they allow their children waste food and they always satisfy what their children want to eat and don’t want to eat.
She believes everyone probably needs a break in between classes because there is no time to regroup in between class. As a team, La Quandria says we have enjoyed class because our instructor has tried to make learning as fun as possible. Candice understood how to develop equations out of word problems. She grasp the concept of the verbiage used, which
Teachers have several responsibilities as a teacher to the students. Some responsibilities of each teacher are teaching the student, grading papers, make sure that the student understands what is being taught, making sure that the students have grades in the grade book. Each teacher is responsible for each student while at school or a school function, the teacher also has to get the student to understand that if needed the student can talk to them with confidence that they will not be telling anyone. Teachers are not teachers for the pay, most are teachers because they enjoy teaching children or they just love being around children. The pay is set on a set salary and paid once a month, some even get paid for the months they are not working.
When I was reading the book I was so surprised at how much Esme used multiple intelligences and different use of texts, media, visual, and other many good practices. Esme’s classroom was a canvas of stimuli and visuals. When told by a colleague that her room was distracting Esme thought to herself that the teacher in question was jealous. I have to agree with Esme, I believe the teacher was jealous of Esme’s enthusiasm, youth and spirit. The teacher may have genuinely been concerned with presenting too much information to students but through my classes at Sage, excessive stimuli is good of students with ADD because it gives them many things to focus on instead of causing behavioral problems.
I know she pays for this herself. This is a woman trying to make a difference. Ms. Barry believes school should be a sanctuary for children, I think she is right. For the less fortunate kids, the daily ritual of being in school, of having people acknowledge you, and of having a hot meal, may be the best experience they get each day. Every child at school is equal, no one knows if you are tucked into bed with hugs and kisses or if you fall asleep in front of a T.V alone.
