The West Virginia Chemical spill had occurred several times before. The government is not looking at the safety of the citizens and only at how the chemical spill could bring profit to the economy. The government was also the one to shut down all schools in the regions because they were concerned of the safety of the children. But they only shut down the school for a day because they could not afford to loose any more money in the economy then they already did. The government stated, “All business and government offices will reopen Monday.” That is a day after the chemical spill.
These qualities ultimately tend to be possessed by true heroes. I have not always always acted with great heroism, especially while dealing with extreme issues, my battle with depression though tested me to show what I believe to be a since of heroism. Middle school was an extremely difficult time for me, bullies and teachers sought me out every day and acted with tremendous displeasure towards me. I valiantly to prove the kids whom crushed me and made comments that left a permanent impression on my brain. My parents, after my consistent begging and pleading, graciously offered me the opportunity to attend Northwest Middle School.
A person who has a borderline personality disorder is often insecure of himself. His self-identity or self-image often changes rapidly. He may view himself as evil, or sometimes feel like he does not exist at all. This unstable self-image may lead to frequent shifts in jobs and friendships, and changes in values and goals. A borderline personality disorder can affect personal relationships because it can make you idealize someone at one moment and then dramatically swing to hatred over minor misunderstandings.
If I would invest the time needed to organize I would have received a better grade. English has never been my forte in high school; I failed one whole semester because I was infected with senioritis. My mentality was that I didn’t HAVE to do anything because graduation was just around the corner, but boy was I wrong. This set of mentality pushed me back in my senior year and it prohibited me from enjoying my last year as my friends were living it up at all the parties while I was home finishing up my online class as a result of my failure. Online classes required self determination and a lot time.
