Tkiyah Clark Solomon Ortiz once said education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact of their students. High school teachers help prepare students for life after graduation (OutlookHandbook,3). They teach academic lessons and various skills that students will need to attend college and to enter the job market. Alternate job positions for people with a teaching degree include starting your own tutoring business, facilitating teacher training courses for a college or university, creating curricular materials for an education company or teaching home-bound kids (Watson,1). There are many prerequisites to becoming a teacher.
I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that. I think that I would be a valuable attendee to CASL because I am a freshman. Anything I learn can be used for all the rest of my four years of high school. I would also be a valuable attendee to the CASL conference because I would easily be able to make up the work that I miss on that Monday from school. I am also one of the older ones out of all my classmates so I would like to go to CASL so that I can learn to be a better leader to those who might look up to me.
Student Course Reflection Jonathan Thomas US/101 June 25, 2013 Gloria Bobbie I learned some good valuable material these last nine weeks. We talked about numerous of things and topics. That can be beneficial to all the students in this class. I am going to talk about Goal Setting, Time and Stress Management, and Effective Study habits. I will also talk about is getting a degree going to help me be successful in life and how can you use the tools and assessments in this class to help you in your future classes.
This upcoming school year I plan to receive honor roll for all quarters and earn A’s in all of my classes. I also love to surpass personally. For example I have recently started making contact with the children’s hospital to see if I can start reading to patients there. I am also aiming to earn my CPR certification this summer so that I can start babysitting. I also think I should be considered for the national junior honor society next year because I’m responsible, caring, and I can be an excellent leader.

Perseverance in my life Hello, school officials, teachers, classmates, ladies and gentleman at Argosy University. In the following months I have attendant Argosy University Online Program. I have had the ability to maintain a successful path towards my goal and it has given me the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. I decided to go back to school for quite a few reasons. The main factors for my returning to school includes my family and stability also plays big role in my returning to school. My reasons for going back to school is to gain communication skills, become a good role model for my children, if I decide to have any, gain independence and seek profitable employment that would be profitable for me. My father has always been my support system in my return to school.
