Suicide is the third leading cause of death between people from 15-24 and the second leading cause of death between the ages 25-34. (Web MD) The rates of suicides are higher in women between the ages of 10 -19 and between the ages of 15-19 in males. (Web MD). Women are most likely to try to attempt suicide, but men are most likely to die from a suicide attempt. Suicide rates have increased in people over 65 years old.
