Later on into the end of the story, it is revealed that Abundio’s wife dies and he becomes depressed, and his way of solving his problems is to go to the bar and drink away his sorrows. Abundio then asks Damiana Cisneros for money so he can bury his dead wife. Damiana gets startled and screams. Abundio then stabs his father Pedro Paramo, the man and the father Juan Preciado was in search for throughout the book. Now with some minor background information on Abundio from the beginning of the novel to the end he has changed from the trustworthy good man the reader thought he was to the potential man that could have killed his father Pedro Paramo.
Ethan is a dynamic character because in the beginning he is a normal, boring guy then when Mattie comes, he falls in love and starts acting different. When wizard students stay at the Russos' due to Wiz Tech being closed down, Ronald Longcape Jr. begins to develop feelings for her. Alex feels guilty when she thinks she's falling in love with Ronald. Ronald gets rid of Dean and then transforms into him as to break up with Alex so he can be with her. Ronald takes advantage of her and makes her evil like him and his father so that they can rule. Alex then reveals she's in love with Dean, so is transformed back.
Later in the novel, we learn of Heathcliff’s childhood and his struggles with Hindly as well as love for Catherine. Because of Hindly’s harshness the audience is able to feel sympathy for Heathcliff. And again when Earnshaw, Heathcliff’s adopted father passes. The more negative side of Heathcliff’s character comes out when Catherine becomes engaged to Edgar Linton. In an attempt to get back at Hindly for his cruelty Heathcliff purposely lends him money so that he will fall deeper into dept, because of his alcoholism.

Brian on the other hand attributed his experiences to the fact that life was harsh on him and he could not forgive the people in his life that hurt him. This was in the beginning of the movie. The author chose to use this title because it correlates with his novel based on realism as does the poem “To a Mouse” that contains the “Of Mice and Men” meaning mice and men had same struggles during the Great Depression. There are many characters facing problems of realism in the novel. One character depicting realism is Crooks. Another character dealing with real life struggles is George. The final character also dealing with real life struggles is Lennie.
The cultural context and values during the 18th century will emphasize and support the suicidal personality of young Werther. Young Werther is in love with a woman Lotte but she is already taken by their friend Albert. He wishes he could be with her and wants to make her realize that she would be happier with him. Unfortunately for young Werther, he is rejected with full force which triggers his suicidal attitude. In the letter of May 22, Werther mentions his first thought of suicide.
