Should Teachers Beat Students For Discipline?

The site of a bruised child is very sad. How could anybody want to be the cause of the pain of a child? I am completely against a teacher beating a student. I believe that beating students is wrong for many reasons. First of all it causes the child to hate the teacher for beating him, secondly beating the student can cause him/her to be depressed, and lastly it is the parent’s job to discipline their child, not the teacher’s. It is human nature to dislike anyone who causes you pain, whether it is physical or mental pain. When there is hate between the student and the teacher the student does not do well in school, there is supposed to be a bond between a student and the teacher not hate and dread. When a teacher beats a student, it causes that student to dread school, which may cause the student to want to drop out. A student will only look towards satisfying the teacher out of fear, and will forget about their future. It can also cause students to build so much hate within themselves that when they get to an old enough age, the student may fight back resulting in either an injury or death of either the student or the teacher. When a teacher beats a student it can cause that student to be depressed. The student will not be completely focused on academics, as the student will be too focused on being everything that the teacher wants him/her to be behavior wise. When a teacher beats a student, it causes the student to feel that he/she is worthless for failing the teacher. When a student is beaten he/she will feel like they are an animal, because that is exactly how they are treated, like a horse when it does not go fast enough, it gets whipped. The student would go through a complex because of being beaten and he or she would not be focused on their studies.
