He dismisses this argument by listing other activities that could be harmful to an individual such as smoking tobacco, riding motorcycles, and having unprotected sex. This comparison makes the idea of prohibiting these activities because they are harmful to the individual participating in them seem rather ridiculous. Basically, illegal drugs CAN be harmful to a user; at the same time, smoking tobacco IS harmful to a user, yet smoking cigarettes is perfectly legal. I think Huemer’s argument effectively defeats the prohibitionists’ standpoint that drugs should be outlawed because they are harmful to the user. Second, the author addresses the prohibitionist argument that illegal drugs cause harm to people around the user as well.
They should spread the word and tell people taking drugs is against the law or that drugs are bad for your health or even that drugs can make you go bankrupt. If people know the damage that drugs can do then they will not want to take them. The police can also eliminate drugs by sending in more undercover police officers and having them pretend to be
Based on the principle of accountability, filmmakers should not be held legally responsible for the actions of moviegoers. Another opposing argument states filmmakers should be at fault because they show a false sense of reality in their movies. Several supporters of this idea criticize the filmmakers’ lack of consequences in the movies. In multiple movies, the bad guy gets away without any retribution for the crimes they committed. The lack of consequences in the movies leads to deliberate, heinous crimes in which the perpetrator thinks he can get away with his actions.
Other countries are dealing with worst software copyright problems. The issue of copyright is not new, and it’s resulted from many factors. In my opinion, copyright violations are caused by the easiness of able to copy software and by lacking of strict enforcement. Some people don’t understand that it’s an ethical issue because by using and copying software without paying is a form of stealing. Many under developed countries are not enforcing the issues of copyright leading to outrageous software piracy.
Plagiarism is the intentional, and sometimes unintentional, stealing of someone else’s work without giving credit to the originator. Plagiarism could be citing work incorrectly or not citing it at all. Bootlegging, which is a very common act today, is a form of plagiarism. It is the taking of usually films or plays and producing copies without paying the owner of the work. Bootleggers use this for the own profit.
Sore Thumbs=Bright Minds Distressed damsels, profanity, and shooting sprees: it's not surprising videogames carry a bad reputation. In Everything Bad is Good for You, Johnson says it best: "It's not what you're thinking about when you're playing the game, it's the way you're thinking" (Johnson 40). It's not a new concept. In the face of their benefits, we

Another opinion why this law should not be used today is because of crimal justice. Another opinion why this law should not be used today is because the person could run. Another opinion why this law should not be used today is because now there are camera's that capture everything we do. Another opinion why this law should not be used today is because it is stupid to kill someone just because they stole some property. Another opinion is because some people do not like to kill
The parental advisory sticker on music Certain albums contain explicit lyrics. Although there is a parental advisory sticker, some people don't pay any mind to it. The parental adivory sticker should not be used because it may lead to illegal actions, record companies won't make as much money, and adults that are able to buy it would buy it for a minor. By using the parental advisory sticker it promtes illegal actions. Minors will be so eager to get it that they could download it from a computer.
There would be nothing that you could hide or keep from someone. There may be an event in my past that I would want no one to find out about but that would be impossible with the ID cards. To close I just want to say that my privacy mean the world to me and to lose that would basically change everything about who I am and the way I act. Personalities would all be different. People would feel that they have nothing for themselves.
