SUMMARY This extract by J.Palmer explains to us what self-actualized person is and what the aim of our life is. When we were born on earth, we have a purpose to accomplish. We have “to become all that we can be”. It means that we do experimentations with ourselves to find our capabilities and use them till their limits. We have to do better in everything we are executing. According to Christians, each person is different from others, no one is normal because we have a divine potential. As reported by, the atheist we have to go beyond our abilities. Maslow said “What a man can be must be”: if you think you can do it, you must do it and not content yourself of the minimum. If you don’t surpass your limitations, you will be unhappy and never feel complete about yourself. To conclude that part about vocation in life we have to find what we are good at and do the maximum with it. A self actualized person by Maslow is someone who all basic and mental needs are fulfilled and the actualization of the full personal potential takes place. A self actualized person is someone who found his potentials and applying them in a cause and using them at their fullest. It is something that is will bring joy on their life. And not making them famous, rich or everything likes that. Pursing your vocation is important. The author pointed out three reasons. * First, doing something that you like, using your talents males you happy and thus healthy. On the contrary, if you don’t like what you do, you will be angry all the time, depressed and it will affect your health (for example, blood pressure and heart attack). * Then, when you do something you love, you will put your heart in everything you are achieving. You will be happy of what you have accomplished because you have a good work and that will bring you success in life and it can be financial reward. * Also, a
