This doesn't happen very happen and each case varies on how critical and important the case was. If the case was that the children were coming to harm on a regular basis then social services would seek to remove the child/children, but they usually give help and advice to the parents to stop any harm coming to the child/children. Wider forms of safeguarding are as follows:- Risk assessments providing safe environments inside and outside the school setting. Procedures and legislation health and safety, fire drills, register, etc. keeping training up-to-date in safeguarding issues.
These rules are sometimes written in a way that they can be like targets for the children e.g. ‘I will walk quietly around school’ instead of ‘Do not run in school’. As rules like this could be difficult for younger pupils to understand, some schools have separate rules for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. For example, one KS1 rule could be to be honest to others while a KS2 rule could be to ‘try your hardest in everything you do’. In some cases, if the children do not understand a rule (this could be down to the way the rule is worded) then staff must discuss them regularly during class and assembly time so that the pupils can remember them.
Students need structure. Structure in the classroom will cause self motivation in students. Also, students don't like being held accountable for their actions. Having to talk to students about why they didn't finish their assignments will motivate them to do their work. Most students try to avoid being lectured or get in trouble for something they can avoid.

One example is to follow directions in the classroom or anywhere. A teacher may tell a student to take a seat or even get in line; it is predictable for them to follow the rules. A teacher should not ever place hard problematic situations on their students, especially young children. You really cannot imagine children who range the age of seven thru eight to grasp the information as teenagers can do.
Something has to be done in order to prevent these types of incidents from happening. We can’t sit around and wait for our school officials and public leaders to spring into action. We as parents, must start at home, teaching our kids right from wrong, not sheltering them from all the negativity and allowing kids to experiences some bad obstacles. This will put them in a place to be able to deal with it later on in life when obstacles arise. Although, this may not prevent such tragedies from occurring, we as a nation will know that we tried and will continue to try to prevent and educate our youth to better handle situations like this.
There is a strict rule that needs to be followed concerning children being picked up from school and if parents cannot pick their children up, meaning someone else picking them up, the school needs to know to avoid any risks of child abduction. Children wait in the school entrance following after school activities, until the correct person arrive to collect the pupil. The duties of supervisory staff e.g. Teaching Assistants are to make themselves familiar with the H+S Act and any other safety issues relevant to their area of work. The School treats Health and Safety seriously, from the playground to the classrooms, the people in the setting are made aware of the risks and told that possible risks are also laminated and put on the walls as an extra reminder of any risks there may be.
When people think of school, a safe environment for students to learn comes to mind. Students learn knowledge happily and safety. However, when people think about gun, they always think about violence, danger and unsafe environment. Therefore, an environment for safe learning should not have guns. The school hires school security to protect the campus and they should be enough protection.
Make sure the areas have enough room for the children to be engage in the areas activities. Children not aware of the dangers in classroom and outdoor area, by going over the safety precautions in a manner it won’t be over bearing or intimating to children. Having them be involved in making the rules of safety in classroom/outdoor area of what are do and don’t. Make sure first aid kit is available and ready just in case if a student have an accident in classroom. It’s a big plus for me to learn more about what I can do for the safety of my children.
I think providing our schools with better security is an issue that should not be put on the back burner to be discussed only when a shooting occurs in our school. We want our schools to be safe and have adequate, security but we do not want our schools to become a prison. We want students and teachers to feel safe and secure when they enter their classroom. We must try and figure out a way to achieve this goal without providing our teachers with firearms. Random locker checks are not done to torment and/or invade the privacy of the students, but for many other important reasons which include school security. These checks are required because malicious students bring drugs and weapons to school and store them in the lockers. Random locker checks should be made obligatory and done frequently to assure the wellbeing of the students. In the first place, locker checks help increase the safety in schools. Safety is a problem in every environment and especially school.
