Throughout his whole speech, he uses an anger and disparaging tome to reflect Bush’s point of view. Overall, George Bush uses emotional appeal, metaphors, and tone to portray Al Qaeda as iniquitous freedom haters which persuades the audience to recognise his contention and accept his point of view. Americans are depicted as victims of war from the September 11th terrorist incident with George Bush’s speech. An anecdote is used in the first paragraph to portray this: “...Americans have known the casualties of war--but not at the centre of a great city on a peaceful morning. Americans have known surprise attacks—but never before on thousands of civilians.
The idea behind is to tell that some albanian terrorists tried to smuggle an atomic bomb into the United States, through the Canadian border and as nobody really knows what is going on in a small country somewhere in-between Europe and Asia, which such a rich war history, people start to believe what they see. Through many stage managed stories the spin doctors in the movie manage to make the population believe the war and to create a huge wave of patriotism. In order to that everybody now stands behind the president, even though his relation ship to an underaged girl. Even when the CIA discovers the plan and “ends” the war through the opposite party, the spin doctors invent a hero which was left behind and is now to be saved. The whole country again believes it.
When the atom bombs were dropped most of the cities in the radius of the blast were leveled. Many people died of radiation sickness, some people got flash burns, and some had the horrible fate of vaporizing into thin air in the blink of an eye. The atomic bombing killed millions of people. It was considered to be genocide and the bomb should have not been dropped. Then again the atomic bombs helped end the war so no more troops would have died.
You can see where a problem would arise here. The pilots would have no idea who they are dropping their bombs on, just what coordinates it is. Bombs were dropped on US soldiers everyday but more vital, local South Vietnamese. America might not have understood at the time but they were the biggest recruiter for their own enemy. Every village destroyed, brother killed, livestock murdered.
Hitler, Stalin, and the Bomb Hitler and Stalin both share the dubious distinction of being two of the most destructive figures throughout all of history. The atrocities committed between the two of them against innocent people runs up into the millions. With Hitler, his rage was derived from his disdain to any Jewish person around believe that they truly were inferior to him. Stalin had a deep fear of people rising up against him and killed a mass amount of his own people just to suppress that fear that the people in his country might soon rebel against him. During the time period in which their reigns each occurred, nuclear science was starting to make some of its biggest discoveries in history.
The movie stretches on many political opinions that uncovered measures in which politicians are willing to go to achieve or keep their power. Fabrication a war on Albania was an example of what goes behind closed doors. “Give me flames”, one of the short film makers, “I want a kitten” said the main producer, and few second later America believed it was in a war. Such act was the President’s strategy of evoking the citizens’ patriotic nature to achieve their support; rallying round the flag. People went from shocked hearing about the sex scandal to being extra supportive of the same president overnight.
Berlin may have been the only capital that experienced some opposition to the war, such was organized by the Berlin Social Democrats but was quickly over shouted by the hoards of “fire-eaters” as stated by Philipp Scheidemann; simply, everyone wanted war. This generation that new very little of war and sacrifice couldn’t understand the global ramifications of what was ahead. According to Roland Doregeles, in Paris all became one; the euphoria of war incorporated even the most silent and hidden of us into the masses. Jews, Poles, Catholics were now all united under one roof to fight for the same cause, for something they saw as a grand and courageous ideal, for their country; the feel of patriotism was now grater
Last but not least he was shot in the leg, sentenced to death, escaped twice from prison, led a successful one-day revolution, and became the leader of his country mostly while still in college. He is none other than Saddam Hussein, President of the Republic of Iraq, the one who killed his own people and started a war with the United States. These people were the most horrible people who ever to live on the face of the earth, because they had too much power in their grasp. Adolf Hitler is an Austrian-German born in April 20 1889. As a child they moved from one place to another because of the work of his father.
A third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, was crashed into the Pentagon, leading to a partial collapse in its western side. The fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, was targeted at Washington, D.C., but crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after its passengers tried to overcome the hijackers. In total, almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, including the 227 civilians and 19 hijackers aboard the four planes. It also was the deadliest incident for firefighters in the history of the United States. Suspicion quickly fell on al-Qaeda.
Because the helots were constantly rebelling, the Spartans attempted to control them by forming a secret a society that annually murdered any helot suspected of encouraging subversion. Sparta Economy Unlike Athens, Sparta's economy depended on conquering other people and farming. Sparta's land was not enough to feed all of it's people. Because most of the Spartan men spent their lives as warriors, Sparta used slaves to produce it's goods. Sparta conquered other neighboring regions.
