Most people do not think twice about submitting to the test, it has become such a basic and common part of the application process for a wide range of job positions. Positions that do not require degrees, special vocational certifications or training, or even high school diplomas in some cases, are now requiring a drug test. It is unfair for America’s taxpayers to foot the bill for the drug-abusing bad apples in the welfare system. As a member of society, it is each and every one of us’ responsibility to help enact laws such as drug testing for welfare to help preserve the integrity of a system that is challenged every minute of every day by those individuals who have no consideration and low or no ethical standards.
