Reflection On Lapeer County

I live in lapeer county, it is rather small and there isn’t much here. It seems there are a lot of middle class and upper class people with nice houses and property around the area that I live. But closer to the “downtown area” if that’s what you want to call it, it seems to be lower class and smaller housing. I put the downtown is quotations because it’s a four way stop and two stores. There is the Hadley General Store and a Dollar store. Also not far away is the Hadley Golf Course. There was one school in Hadley for kindergarten to third grade but it has been shut down and is no longer in use. Although the school is shut down the baseball fields are stilled used for little league boys baseball and girls softball. The population is mostly white there are a few that are of Mexican and middle east decent but not many. There are no hospitals or anything but there is a chiropractor nearby and a fire station.…show more content…
There is a recreational center where you can work out, swim, play sports and exercise. The population is still mostly white but with a variety of all types of ethnicity. The most other than white seems to be African American and some Spanish. Most fast food places can be found around Lapeer and it has many pizza places. It has places to buy groceries and clothes although I do not shop for in Lapeer for clothing. There are two high schools, two middle schools and a number of elementary schools throughout Lapeer
