It is a good idea to have a curfew for young drivers because it ensures the well being of everyone on the road, and in several ways. First of all, curfews help to keep teen drivers from driving when they are less attentive to the road, like when they are tired. “Driving for just three hours at night is similar to being intoxicated, and even two hours after dark is like being buzzed.” (Squatriglia). Therefore, teens are far more likely to get in car accidents after curfew. To drive after dark, one must know how to handle dangerous situations, knowledge only gained through experience, which young drivers do not have.
Why wear a seat belt when driving because, if worn properly, they prevent you from being thrown around or out of your car if you’re in a car crash. When you wear a seat belt it is more likely for somebody to live in a car crash then someone who doesn’t wear a seat in a car crash. Why avoid texting and driving at the same time? When you text and drive at the same time you’re more anxious to check your message then keep your eyes on the road. Also when you’re more likely to lose focus on what you should be doing like driving?
Using a cell phone while driving is a very dangerous obsession to do. I believe that there should be a law in every state banning the use of cell phones while driving. If a person uses a cell phone while driving he or she is easily distracted. It is one of the major causes of traffic accidents. Using a cell phone while driving also lowers a person’s reaction time.

From years past, people are using cell phone. Clearly, we have learned the benefits of cell phone; for example, we can conduct business, stay in touch with our family and friends, and let people know if we are running late. In the other hand of these benefits, we have known that talking on a cell can pose a serious risk for the driver because it distract driver from driving. The studies over the world found that talking on the phone while driving raises the risk of crashes. There is another reason to prohibit using the cell in car is distracting people from driving.
Drivers have to take their eyes off the road while dialling. Also, drivers can get so deep into their conversations that their ability to concentrate may be dangerously limited. This affects the safety of the people inside the vehicle, and the pedestrians outside. In order to drive safely, the driver should be able to put his or her concentration and focus on the road. Cell phones are simply a huge distraction while driving.
Speeding, texting while driving and other distractions played a part in the deaths. The article goes on to state that because teens are immature and have inexperience there is potential for disaster. The main idea of the article focuses on different ways and steps that will prevent crashes and save lives of teenage drivers and others on the road. It's pointed out that because teens' prefrontal cortex is not fully formed, teens have a hard time not acting on impulse. Another problem they have is some don't see the risks or don't care.
The purpose of the restrictions is keep teens safe and avoid crashes. Teens have a great misperception that gives them an overconfidence in everything they do. There are many factors that influence the why there are driver license restriction for teen drivers. One of the various factors is peer pressure. A car full of teens is known to be “the perfect storm” where the teen drivers are influenced
