Her father was a psychopathic pedophile who was in jail at the time of her birth while her mother was an immature teenager who abandoned Aileen and her brother. Brought up by her grandparents, she found herself the victim of rampant childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her grandfather.

His reason was that by killing Lennon he would then inherit the world icons fame. By looking at the life of Chapman (crime investigation.co.uk/Mark Chapman) many of the traits of other killers can be spotted. He had an abusive father, he didn’t fit in with other children in school, and one could say he was a loner. His life was one downward spiral of drugs and debt to the point where he tried to kill himself by attaching a plastic hose to the exhaust pipe of his car. The plastic hose melted and he survived.
She killed her parents because they were to worried about her life, and set up the scene where they were killed to lead to believe that Cathy was murdered. Cathy then changed her name and began to lead a new life. She then started to manipulate men for their money. She did this by taking pictures and using them for blackmail if the men did not pay her. Many men fell for this and in my opinion she became very powerful in a sense.

His words are still in my head,“These were my favorite books as a kid and I want you to enjoy them as I did when I was seven. These books kept me out of trouble,” he laughed. At first I was not really into the Hardy Boys, but since my father loved them I wanted to enjoy them like he did. “My father loved books, and since I loved my father with an aching devotion, I decided to love books as well.”(Alexie, 397) Parents want their children to succeed in life and they know without literacy the world would be a tough place.
