Once everyone leaves to the wedding, she goes and weeps at her mother’s grave. There, Ashputtle asks the hazel tree for a dress, “to throw her down silver and gold”.
Inanna went to the underworld knowing that she would probably not be returning, she got everything taken away from her when entering the Underworld. As stated in the text, “When she entered the first gate, from her head, the shugurra, the crown of the steppe, was removed” (32). Inanna did something for herself and for the sake of others. And as stated in the text, everything she wore and that had value in the upperworld meant absolutely nothing in the underworld. Like everyday people when it was Inanna’s time to meet the judges of the underworld they judged her and then ended up killing her.

It would look like a monster and in their minds this huge thing could kill them. A horse’s instinct when afraid is to flee as fast as possible. Even a tame horse is afraid at first. When Katie is in the wild horse race Flicka stops as soon as she hears Katie yell her name. With how much noise there was there is no way the horse would have heard her.
The chorus refers to the cursed house of Labdacus consistently throughout the play, in saying disaster never leaves a house once “shaken by heaven.” Specifically, the descendants of cursed Theban King Labdacus are cursed for his having offended Dionysus the wine god. A divine curse upon an individual affects not only that individual but also all of that individual's descendants. Antigone is supposed to marry her cousin Haemon, but by the end of the play, in a revelation that demonstrates just how widespread the Labdacus curse is - Haemon dies, Eurydice dies, and Antigone dies, leaving only Ismene and Creon as the de facto descendants of Labdacus. Henceforth, their misfortunate tragedies rely not upon their actions, but the destiny that has already been sealed for them. Antigone and Creon were both far too immersed in his own foolish pride to recognise his perverseness, and that is the source of tragedy.
Iris started to disobey Chanda’s order, makes Soly in believing her that if one day, everyone die she would live with her father and leave Soly alone by himself. This shows how children in this area of the world threaten someone who’s younger because they miss someone who they loved, and how important their mother is to them. One day Iris and Soly was over at Mrs.Tafa’s place. Chanda called them to come home, but they refused to listen to her. Chanda wrestled Iris to the ground and sat on her.
Due to Candy’s bad impression of Curley’s wife to George and Lennie, George became paranoid and gave Lennie strict rules to follow, which eventually caused Curley’s wife to die as a result. Furthermore, Candy is in the barn staring at Curley’s wife’s dead body and cursing at her by saying, “You God damn
Also, the Capulet family was in a fight with the Montague family. You can clearly see this when it is said “by thee, old Capulet, and Montague, Have thrice disturb’d the quiet of our streets…” (1.1.88-89).This fight made it even harder for Juliet because her and Romeo were not allowed to be together. Lastly, Lord and Lady Capulet had far too much control over her and would not allow her to do anything she wanted “To go with Paris to Saint Peters church, or I will drag thee on a hurdle thither.” (3.5.154-155).The fact that her parents were doing this is what forced Juliet to lie to them about Romeo. The way that Juliet’s parents controlled her and treated her all led up to her
Curley’s wife is never given a name and this makes her sound as if she is curlys possession throughout the novel. She is constantly defined by other individual as a flirt, temptress, poisonous influence and sexual object; reducing her sense of identity Curley’s wife is aware of her sexuality and parades around the ranch in inappropriate clothing that is seemingly designed to attract the maximum amount of attention, although she always claims to be looking for her husband. She wears the colour “red” most noticeably, which is symbolic, of passion and sexually proactive. This symbolic colour acts as a red flag to a bull in the case of Lennie.her flirtatious, which ultimately causes Lennies demise, cannot be denied. However, in reality, this is her way of gaining comfort, affection and attention, all of which is starved of her in her relationship with curly, who only sees her as a trophy to stroke and parade.
