Lady Macbeth is Macbeth’s wife and she wants him to kill the king. Macbeth bounces back and forth with his decision to kill the king or not. Eventually he decides that he is not going to do it until Lady Macbeth talks him into doing the deed. Macbeth killing Duncan changes his ordinary life into a special world where it is okay to kill the king. His next trial was what he was going to about his suspicious best friend Banquo.
Then road home to his wife and told her what happened. Lady Macbeth heard the story and desires the crown for him and wants to kill Duncan in order for him to be crown King. So late at night, she persuades him on killing the king and she drugs the chamberlin so they'll knock out. ( having someone to blame on the kings death) While Duncans asleep, Macbeht goes in for the kill despite his hallucination with a bloody dagger and supernatural effects. After Duncan's death has ben found out, he killed the two chamberlins for their "crime" and gets the kingship.
Macbeth, a general in King Duncan’s army, is informed by three witches that he will be the Thane of Glamis and Cawdor, as well as the King of Scotland. As Macbeth had just led an army to defeat armies lead by the former Thane of Cawdor, the King honors Macbeth and names him the new Thane of Cawdor. The then skeptical Macbeth is convinced of the accuracy of the witches’ predictions, and informs his wife, Lady Macbeth of the turn of events. She then begins to envision her husband as the King of Scotland, and desires for him to succeed the king. To make this dream into a reality, she begins to plot the current king’s demise, and persuades her husband to take part in it.
In the exposition of the play, the witches told Macbeth that he will become the Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. They also warn him about what to look out for. Macbeth is characterized as a brave soldier and a powerful man who is rather easily tempted and convinced. After hearing about these wonderful things from the witches, Macbeth’s wife, Lady Macbeth, who lusts for power and position, manipulates Macbeth to achieve the prophecy and let nothing stand in his way. The first step was to kill King Duncan, who was the current King of Scotland.
Macbeth and Banquo went to battle intent on winning. Macbeth confronted Macdonwald successfully. The battle had been won and the witches appeared, hailing Macbeth as “Thane of Glamis”, “Thane of Cawdor” and “king hereafter”. Macbeth bemused by these new titles: receives news from a messenger that he had been appointed the new “Thane of Cawdor”. King Duncan had reached this decision on hearing that the initial “Thane of Cawdor” was traitorous to Scotland during battle.
In England Macduff is trying to get Malcolm to come back and get his spot back as King. They agree to wage war against Macbeth. The witches tell him that any man born a woman cannot kill him. Act V: Lady Macbeth has gone crazy. She kills herself.
In Act 1 Duncan’s troops defeat a rebellion at which Macbeth proves himself. On arrival Macbeth and Banquo coincide to meet with three witches who make a prediction that Macbeth will be the thane of Cawdor and also king. However, when Banquo asked for the prediction of his future, he was replied that he will not be king but on the other hand will get kings in his bloodline. When Lady Macbeth finds out about these prophecies she automatically assumes that Duncan must be killed and manages to convince Macbeth to murder the king.
