“Critics of physician assisted suicide believe that doctors like Jack Kevorkian are doing nothing less than playing God“ (Gay 47.) But as Karl Barth said, “It is for God and God alone to make an end of human life” (Lee 17.) Physicians were never meant to take the lives of others. In fact, the job of a physician is very clear, and killing their patients is not in the description. “Many physicians say they would be clouding their roles as healers if they helped patients to die” (Buchanan 36.)
Then the fact that they did not have a law saying that it was wrong for someone to commit suicide or the medical assistance of it. doctors are supposed to be here to provide care. I feel like no justice was served and that this could happen again to someone

It challenges trust between doctor and patient. We expect physicians to heal and preserve life, not to kill on request. I reply that I want to be able to trust my doctor to do what is best for me in every situation. I would not ask a doctor to do anything illegal, but if physician-assisted death were permitted by law, I would not want to be abandoned in my final hours. The main reason I’m against assisted suicide is Its God's place to decide the time and place of a person's death.
Physician assisted suicide should be a right given to all people who are suffering from a painful, degenerative, or deadly condition. Anyone who might never enjoy the luxuries of living a happy and healthy life again. Though several ongoing debates are against physician-assisted suicide, ethicists are still not the one who is responsible to make this decision. Patients have the right to free will and human dignity that gives them the right to choose physician assisted suicide. Being able to have this choice allows the patient to maintain some control over their devastating situation.
Ethical Implications of a Breach of Confidentiality Confidentiality is the right of every patient. According to various laws, it is unacceptable to disclose the medical information to a third party without the consent from the patient. Law protects patient's right for keeping their vital information confidently. Healthcare staff should respect and protect patient's confidentiality. According to American nurses association disclosing patient's details without their permission is considering breach of confidentiality (ANA, 2012).
For example, many people against this decision claim that it is not ethical due to the fundamental tenet of medical ethics which is “Do no harm” (Bender 37).This decision is very ethical because what is not ethical is letting an innocent person die instead of taking the route of assisted suicide. If the person suffering was a relative of another person will they think twice not to because it is their loved ones suffering. By defining ethics it is related to a moral principle in which many differ from principles and standards. Another debate can be that assisted suicide is not a constitutional right. Assisted suicide is a choice which the constitution does support freedom of choice.
Eventually some people and their families might be forced to put financial concerns above the needs of a loved one. Doctors or insurance companies could try to convince some people to opt for assisted suicide rather than the more expensive treatment. This would be an injustice to all humankind. A history professor at San Francisco State University argued that assisted suicide would lead to inequities and would not be limited to those with a terminal illness. “Given the way the U.S. healthcare system is getting increasingly unjust and even savage, I don't think this system could be trusted to implement such a system equitably, or confine it to people who are immediately terminally ill"(Mohler).
• Non – voluntary euthanasia – where a person is unable to give their consent for example if they are severely brain damaged, and another person makes the decision on their behalf. • Involuntary Euthanasia – where a person is killed against their wishes. Many religions do not agree with euthanasia. Some religions regard it as a type of murder. • The official Roman Catholic Church is against euthanasia and says it is a crime.
Just because a fetus may not have a complete eye or leg formed doesn't mean he or she isn't a human. Many people who are against death penalty are in favor of abortion. Abortion is one of the worst types of murder because it is the killing of a person who has not committed any sin. Those who practice abortion should receive the same penalty that they give the baby. According to my point of view there are some important reasons why women should not abort have to do with human values, religious values, and doing an abortion is unsafe for the mother.
