The message of Jesus saving grace may be the greatest gift those that are saved may present to the world. Jesus left the Apostles with a mandate in spreading the gospel throughout the entire world. Matthew 28: 18:20 ‘’ Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to all creation and make disciples of all the nations’’ (Bible Gateway NKJV 2013). The purpose of cross cultural ministry is witnessing to all cultures, ethnic groups and denominations. Ambassadors of Christ are encountered with the world each and every day. Being prepared to express the love of God may not be limited to mission or overseas ministry. There are many communities around the areas in which Christians work and live that may be from a different background. The opportunity to minister to another cultural is cross cultural ministry. Cross cultural Ministry should include developing an understanding of a cultural and its needs, proclaiming and demonstrating the love of Jesus through compassion, and Providing resources to others by engaging them in ministry work equips them to participate in cross cultural ministry’s needs. Cross cultural Ministry is an important work of the ministry, because it encourages spreading the gospel. One of the most effective ways to transform the gospel unto another culture is developing an understanding of a culture and its needs.
