I am taking away a lot of respect for foster parents. They have to deal with kids who have never had structure in their life, and implement it in a way that works every time.
In 1870 it became compulsory for all children to receive an education which provides children with equal opportunities. The introduction of these laws has ultimately created a child centred society.
