The Achievable American Dream “In this remarkable time for the world, I refuse to believe it's time to stop believing in the possibilities of our remarkable country. I refuse to accept the downsizing of the American Dream,” said Senator John Kerry stating his belief that we should not doubt our country or our ability to achieve the American Dream. Even though it is harder to accomplish these goals today, with hard work, they are still reachable no matter what they may be. My dream job is to become a fashion creative director in which I will work for magazine companies or individuals to help them find the right outfit, setting, and accessories to help them obtain the feeling they are trying to portray. With this, I would be looking forward to waking up and knowing I love my job. A successful job is not just one I want to enjoy everyday, but one that will last most of my life. I want to be able to work in the same field for as long as I can. This means that I will not have to change degrees or change positions because the field I had already chose would be the same throughout my life. Of course everyone’s dream job is one that will make good enough money to help support themselves and their family through their life time. I also wish to have this as a part of my dream job. Love is an important feeling to have in life, no matter what it revolves around. When most people think of love they think of being in love with another person, I wish to have this. I want to have a family, no matter what the size, that I can love and care for. I also want that back. I want someone that will love me for me, and who will always the there. However, there is more to love then to just love another person. I want to love my career. I wish to go to bed every night excited for the next day, and I wish to wake up every morning feeling the same. Even though all of these are important things to hold, there is one thing that I believe comes before them all; this is the love for life. If you do not have someone else to love or if you do not have a job to love, you must love life and what you have been blessed with.
