Davis wishes he lived in some other country where he could have better access to healthcare. If he lived in Great Britain he would not pay for his healthcare. While they work they pay higher taxes to cover the cost of healthcare, but his healthcare would not stop if he lost his job. There is more access to healthcare for children, unemployed, and retired persons regardless of their income. They receive no medical bills; therefore, there is no threat of bankruptcy due to a medical condition.
There are not many other professions where the employee can make the employer wait, only in a physician office can this happen. A Physician that respects time uses scheduling as a way to run the office efficiently, and not as a dominate source of revenue. Dr. Schafer the pediatrician in the case study has proven that if you respect your patients and put their needs first, you book appointments realistically, fit in emergencies, tame phone calls, and deals with late comers allowing
People go to the hospital in order to get better from whatever ailment is troubling them. Healthcare workers should give no less than an excellent quality of care towards the patients. Being lax about cleanliness lowers this quality of care and puts everyone in danger. Unfortunately, not all hospitals adhere to strict cleanliness rules and as a result, the number of HAIs are increasing with the U.S. Department

Smith and Anderson (2014) state, that the remaining fifty-two percent of experts concur that more jobs will be created by the year 2025. Bringing in robotics does not necessarily mean that there will be no jobs. They may be replacing jobs that can be handled more efficiently by robotics, but they are creating new positions for those who might feel left behind. There still has to be trained associates to use these machines. For instance, with the near infrared technology stated above, while the technology helps nurses and doctors, the nurse or doctor is still required to use the machine.
I feel most of this could be eliminated through technologies such as electronic health records, e-prescribing and telemedicine. If my facility had the electronic medical record (EMR) continuity of care would have been better. Consulting physicians would have access to pull up all of my medical history from their office and this would enable them to work together to devise a health care plan that would be beneficial to me and my health. This leaving no room for error or duplication of services rendered. E-prescribing would also hold a benefit for my care so that medications would be recognized across the board reducing the risk of medication error or bad results in care

There will also be a Co-pay every three months, and government would automatically pay for the poor and pregnant women. The hospitals would compete for government funding based on how well they treated their patients. I would instate more technology in hospitals because it will aid us in helping patients get better and it could cut some spending costs. You would not be required to see a gatekeeper before seeing a specialist, you can choose which one you would like to see. There will also be a social health insurance fund, so if you lose your job you will not lose your health care.
Academic and Professional Goals Alan M. Gavami Walden University Dr. Miriam Ross Academic and Professional Goals Currently, I make positive societal change with one patient at a time by showing genuine care and understanding of how they are different with different needs. This is one reason of several that I chose Walden University, since Walden has a keen awareness and teaching on multicultural competence, I find this to be Paramount. Managers in today’s healthcare environment are much more involved in management, planning, cost containment and efficiency, while providing a better work environment for the hospital staff, and better care for the patients and their family. The skills I expect to gain through getting my master’s with Walden University should give me the ability to recognize and understand problems we face on daily bases in the healthcare system. With this knowledge I plan to work toward a more cost effective and delivery system with healthcare provided to the patient population.
