Aashish Gautam Professor Dr. James Wright English 1302 10 August 2015 Necessity of Public Engagement with Multiculturalism in America The United States is a land of immigrants. This country has people of different backgrounds from all around the globe. Because of the people of different race, ethnicity, and nationality, America is one of the diverse nations in the context of cultures. Sharing different cultures and tradition among the people of different backgrounds can certainly incorporate uniformity among people. The practice of multiculturalism gives uniqueness and an essential component to benefit the country such as good public relationship.
He did believe that the government should have the reins and be in control, but he always wanted the people of America with him every step of the way and to know what was going on. He never wanted them to not know what was going on and to never have to question what they were doing. In Document G, FDR says “The voice of great events is proclaiming to us. Reform if you would preserve.” Like stated earlier with Hoover, Conservatives are highly against change in government and want little to none to happen. Honestly though, sometimes it is the only way that you can improve.
Since the basic of all human nature is to obtain power, we can assume that there is something that the US wants besides trying to stop the use of chemical weapons. With the past conflicts that we have had in the middle east, why do we need to try and topple a government or be the police for the area and try to neutralize the situation. When we ask ourselves what do we have to gain from this besides more power after the cost of many American lives, is it really worth to have a repeat situation like Iraq and Pakistan? “The character of a foreign policy can be ascertained only through the examination of the political acts performed and of the foreseeable consequences of these acts.” (Morgenthau) The roots of all human nature is to obtain power, so out of losing many American soldiers lives, what do we gain? If we would have been more involved when we saw the sparks of conflict start, why did we not try to neutralize the sparks instead of fighting a huge wildfire.
They are the ones whom make decisions that affect everyone under their control. Although we learn throughout the book that this government is different from all previously attempted mass systematic control. These individuals share large amounts of power between each other and have discovered a path which will stop the constant class struggle. The ideology of the totalitarian government is that the individual becomes nothing more than a cell of a much larger organism, in this case the organism is an empire. The rulers of such an empire would never have to worry about being overthrown, so long as they kept control over their subjects with careful indiscrimination.
Society dos not want to be lied to, all they want is the true facts and actual reason behind the wars we send our soldiers into. Like in George Orwell’s, 1984, there is a war going on between Oceania and Eurasia, it is later depicted that it is between Oceania and Eastasia. Nobody in Oceania knows who they are actually fighting. This enhances the idea that the government in society today doesn’t want to give the real reason why they go to war with another country. This disconnection between the government and society shouldn’t be happening because we should know why we have to send our loved ones out to another country to fight for a “cause” that the government thinks is right.
While the national government was to utilize its energy on a one-time premise to bust all trusts, the central government was to have no part in managing business. Any regulation would need to be carried out by state governments. This differentiated particularly with Roosevelt's New Nationalism, which called for a significantly stronger part for the president and the central government in directing the economy and checking the misuses of corporate force. New Freedom and New Nationalism contrasted fundamentally, then, in their perspectives of elected administrative force. Roosevelt needed to utilize it while Wilson did not.

B. Immigration is talk about a lot today in America and can be trace back all the way back to the Indies who were the first people here before the Europeans came to America. C. Immigration has change from what it was in the 1900 to what it is today in America. To inform you more I will start by talking about the term Alien 2. The term Alien is use to describe immigrates or people who come from another country to live in America.
Where are their people? Technically if anybody is “American”, it should be those people here before us, since they were the original inhabitants of this region. By definition, America is a term used to describe the new world. But was it new to them? This was the land they were born on.
Essay #1: My Adjustment Process to America. When people move to a new country, they often find themselves surrounded by a whole new world which has a completely different environment from the one to which they are accustomed. They may not know the language, custom and traditions that are new and perhaps seem strange. I am Salvadoran; I was born and raised in El Salvador a small beautiful country in Central America.
