Siggelkow 1 Ryan Siggelkow Dr. Kristi Eiler English 101 September 20, 2009 Personal Experience Narrative The Crandon Shooting It was homecoming week at Crandon High school. Dress up week was a blast and everyone participated. The teachers always said they'd give us extra if we dressed up. Taking advantage of this opportunity, I dressed up as The Terminator, wore our school colors, looked crazy on Wacky Wednesday, and finally dressed up like a woman. Thanks to the help of my girlfriend, I was one hot young lady. I wore a cute blue dress with capris and flip flops. Throughout the week, you could see the small town of Crandon covered in toilet paper from top to bottom as a joke between friends that happen annually. The cops are never too happy about it, but no one ever cares since it's always fun to run from them. If your done toilet papering by 11 o'clock then your good to go. Otherwise you'd get chased down with a nightstick and a big fine to pay for the next day. Homecoming is the greatest week for high school students. Everyone has a great time including the students and teachers. Our homecoming pep-rally and the float parade had begun on Friday. All week students prepared the halls with decorations to compete for first place in the homecoming competitions. Among the decorations there were categories such as best float, best gym poster, and best painted window on a downtown store. After the voting the game had begun. Following the game would result in the celebration party that ended in a complete massacre that no one from Crandon will ever forget. The week was a success as our town was decked in toilet paper, halls filed with decorations and emotions at an all time high. The pep-rally was a blast and everyone had fun.
