It will come to a conclusion deciding whether or not Ischomachus' conversation with Socrates gives a different picture of an Athenian marriage from the other law court speeches. Each author of these speeches has a very different intention. Xenophon, the writer of Ischomachus' conversation and a pupil of Socrates, is trying to make Ischomachus look like a fool. Ischomachus believes that his wife is perfect and so is their marriage however Xenophon and most probably the jury know she is far from perfect. In a Proof of Marriage, the writer Isaeus is trying to convince the jury the wife and mother had a legitimate marriage so the woman can inherit her father Ciron's estate.
If he goes on the trip it is only good for Bill. If he declines the invitation then it is good for UWear, Joe, Paledenim, and in the end Joe’s family. Others with a different view than mine might say that Joe should use the Egoism theory. This theory suggests that we should act only in our self-interest and that failure to do so keeps us from reaching our potential, (Forman, 2008). Someone might suggest this theory because they believe that Joe should act in his best interest and if he does then he will not go on the trip.

When clearly stated, my problem is, how do I get my children to do their chores? My issue is, should my husband be responsible for reinforcing the fact that chores need to be done or should it be me? Figuring out which was the problem and which was the issue was simple. My children not contributing towards their share of the household chores is unacceptable and action need to be taken to make a change. There would be no divide when discussed this matter with intelligent informed people.

The “A” causes the public to shun Hester because of her sin, while Dimmesdale remains an icon.
