Of course, people have become extremely dependent on technology, computers this, phones that. Without technology, this world would not be the same at all. Half of the things and assignments we get now would be harder to do without it. Not necessarily harder, but us as people starting with technology, especially this generation, we just wouldn't know an easy way of doing them. So with that, we put our all in technology to do almost everything we can, communicating, work, etc.
Most people wake up without even getting out of the bed, and the first thing they do is check their phone, or cut on the TV. Technology is taking over, and if you don’t believe it, you have some sort of issues. Technology is overrated and can, in some cases, be hazardous. With the new “smart phones” everyone wants to text, especially while driving, which isn’t smart for all people who can’t multi-task. Also, with the social networking sites, they now have apps you can use on your phones, which can be a distraction for people working, or in school, etc.
This society as a whole is dependent, and it seems to only be getting worse. You know technology is being over-used if you and your spouse are in the same room, holding a conversation through text message (Patrick). That is just pitiful. Technology is so big right now even our Grandparents have iPads and iPhones. Work can’t get done without our computer, iPad, Smart Phone, etc. How do you think your life would be right now without any of your technology? Tragic right? But it is only how you make it seem. If you decide you want to put Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Angry Birds, etc., over your homework and think you’ll pass with flying colors, you got it dude!
Now don’t get me wrong, technology was one of the best inventions ever. Just learn how to use it without becoming too dependable on it (Enjoy it!). With all the things we do in life, half of the time, technology will be needed, especially with everyone living off of money. Most jobs...
