Family Health History Patient states that grandparents on each side of her family passed away because of cancer. (see genogram on next page) Review of Systems General Symptoms – Patient complains of swollen/painful tongue and a rash on the inside of her thighs. Says pain in tongue is a 7 out of 10 when talking or eating. Integumentary – Patient describes skin as dry. Uses lotion and baby oil.

There has been no reported problems or experiences dealing with resistant training and MS patients (Garrett, M., & Coote, S. 2009). Andrea’s husband, Rusty, took her to numerous doctors seeking help for Andrea. She was placed on different medications for years, but Andrea refused to take them. In 1999, Andrea tried to kill herself with a drug overdose, but was found and taken for treatment. She was prescribed medications such as Zoloft and Zyprexa, but also refused to take them. Andrea was shutting down and would not accept help from anyone to make her feel better.
