This is because society in general has stereotyped views about mental illness and how it affects people. Many people believe that people with mental ill health are violent and dangerous, when in fact they are more at risk of being attacked or harming themselves than harming other people.
They can also be discriminated against by people overwhelming them too much. For example when someone insists on helping them with everything because by helping them with everything they are still being treated as if they are something less than human. Still they are being treated as obviously different and in doing so it can also make them offended and lose confidence in the things they are capable of doing themselves. Individual with additional needs are also not employed because of their disability as they are seen as less skill people. This can be a barrier for them because it means they cannot achieve their own dreams and goals in life as well cannot be independent and control over their life.

It is sometimes easier to have general categories rather trying to understand the complexities of the human life. This however goes against the ethos and ethical framework which professional counselling works within. The newspapers often stereotype for example illegal immigrants are made out to be bad people and that they should be sent home. I believe they should be seen as individual’s cases and their stories should be told as if the truth was seen and why they do what they do, it would be hard pushed to want to sent them home. Depending on the story this could lead to some trouble. People might get scared and panic. This will lead to people doing bad things. It would only make it worse if these actions were taken with wrong information. Another issue would be does a specific media conglomeration have their own separate agenda?
The videos are made in a way that help make people better aware of the affects these harmful substances can have on anyone’s life. These speakers and authors were helpful in being informative not just doing the “Hollywood gossip talk”. This gossip that goes around in the world only makes the situation harder on

While some of the words I mention could be screamed at a fellow driver who just did something incredibly reckless, this list is meant more for discussion and published writing (including blogs). Be careful with the use of ANY of these terms, as they are all controversial in some ways, inappropriate in some contexts, etc. It is not possible to compile a list of perfectly “safe” terms to describe antisocial behavior – what’s recognized as “antisocial” isn’t even the same in every culture or region. Sometimes it could get so intense that the attorney may abstain from probing further. This is usually very trying for the attorney who finds herself at the cross roads: wanting to get the entire truth in order to prepare a good case and not wanting to push too hard out of sympathy for the obviously distraught victim. Similarly, asking tough personal questions is also very exigent especially when it has to do with sexual violence and this demands a lot of tact from the attorney/case handler. Situations such as these usually cause valued information to be left out.
