Marco的SAT作文范文 I think that if you have a close friendship with the wrong person(s), then yes, close friendships are dangerous and may lead to wrongdoing. If I had a close friendship with a straight-A student who helps out in the community then no, that friendship would not be dangerous, but it is possible for that person to pressure me into doing things against my nature as well. This helps to develop the theme of reality versus appearance, which is shown throughout the play. Polonius is teaching Reynaldo how to use words to hide the true meaning behind his questions. He is doing this to ensure that his son maintains a virtuous image, even if he is engaging in fights, attending parties and chasing girls. However, [Polonius] does not wish for Reynaldo to create any scandals of Laertes or make him appear immoral though these inquiries. This is why I believe lines 1-52 should be kept, as they are sufficient to show the audience the theme, and a major plot development.

Although arguments may seem negative, it is possible to perceive positive outcomes towards a friendship by having occasional disputes. Good friendships sometimes have arguments to release tension. Both individuals might build up resentment over time; however, due to this build up, it is healthy to let one another know how they are feeling.
