According to the First Law of Thermodynamics, energy cannot be created or destroyed. There-fore, energy is not really lost, but may be released in another form such as heat or light. In this form, the energy may be partly unusable. (p. 28) 25. a. Ca, b. C, c. H, d. Fe, e. N, f. 0, g. K, h. Na (p. 29) 26. a.
Angular velocity is defined by the right hand rule. (here is a link to a simple explanation of the right hand rule) The direction of angular momentum is the same as that of the angular velocity. The direction of momentum is the direction of the velocity. In the absence of torque both the amount and the direction of the angular momentum will not change. In the absence of a force both the amount and direction of momentum will not change.

Also a simple harmonic motion is a term that refers to a particular type of oscillatory motion; they are the simplest kind of periodic motion to analyze. It is very important to understand the simple harmonic motion because it provides a strong basis for the study of more complicated oscillations. Periodic motion occurs when an object repeats its motion in equal intervals of time (periodically). A grandfather clocks pendulum, for example, will swing in one direction then back again, only to repeat the motion indefinitely. This is called oscillating, when an object is undergoing periodic motion.
A scientific determinist will say that any choice we make is merely an illusion of free will. We see the choices we make as free will because of the inherent complexities involved with the mind. Although we do not fully grasp the complexities of the human brain, scientific determinism states that, knowing everything there is to know about the rules of the universe we would be able to determine what a person was going to do. On the other hand, free-willists believe that humans do in fact have free will. There is some amount of causal powers attributed to the brain that cannot be simply by analyzing the electromagnetic-fields and quarks in the brain.
This would only apply in a perfect system or when calculating the vectors rather then finding them in real life. Finding the vectors mathematically allows for more precision and accuracy however having a perfect system is not practical because it never occurs in everyday life. Doing two graphs allows for the vectors to be shown exactly how the forces are applied to the string as well as how they add up to create equilibrium. Force is
Neutral Equilibrium When the centre of gravity of a body lies at the point of suspension or support, the body is said to be in neutral equilibrium. If the ball is pushed slightly to roll, it will neither come back to its original nor it will roll forward rather it will remain at rest. When the ball is rolled, its centre of gravity is neither raised nor lowered. This means that its centre of gravity is at the same height as before. The stability of an object is determined by: * The position of its centre of gravity.
In his first law he explained that. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.In second law he define the force and give the expression F=ma where m is the mass of the body and a is acceleration due to gravity. While in his third law he showed reaction that is F12=-F21 which mean in between each two bodies there is equal and opposite reaction. On the other words it mean that if a person is walking that means he is applying force on earth;whereas, earth also applying force on his foot as much he apply on the
When using the variable supply voltage control method of speed control, the maximum torque falls down with the decreasing supply voltage and thus the motor remains underutilized. In the end this method will not yield good performance. In constant control, by use of rectifier and PWM inverter, we can vary the supply voltage as well as the supply frequency such that the ratio remains constant so that the flux remains constant too. Furthermore, we can get different operating zone for various speeds and torques and also we can get different synchronous speed with almost same maximum torque. Due to which the motor is completely utilized and the speed can be controlled to a greater extent.
First and foremost, the Bernoulli equation is used to measure the pressure head and velocity heads in this experiment. The Bernoulli equation assumes that viscous effects are negligible, the flow is assumed to be steady, the flow is assumed to be incompressible, and the equation is applicable along a streamline. While it is safe to assume that the fluid is incompressible and applicable along a streamline, the same may not hold true for the other conditions. When the flow rate is low, the flow is steady. However, as the flow rate increases, the sudden change in area may cause the flow to be slightly turbulent, subsequently causing a deviation from the actual total head.
