Is America today anything like Mark Twain’s perception of America? I believe both superstitions and racism exist in America today. In Mark Twain’s book, silly superstitions surround Huck. For example, Huck is led to believe that a hair ball could tell his fortune. Although people at this time do not seem to realize this, there connection between the future and a ball of dead skin cells does not exist.
All of these strains add up to make a tension filled country with a lot of underlying problems, that were contradictions to what is portrayed. Therefore, it brings people who are often associated with these stereotypes a lot of inconvenience in their daily life.

The problem in this belief is that is caused a misunderstand in the benefits of technology. The negative effects of technology is entirely persistent on how a person uses it.
