In this paragraph i'm going to talk about how Lance Armstrong impacted the American Society socially. In 2010 the United States Anti-doping Agency (USADA) started an investigation against Lance, which he constantly denied. After many months of investigation, Armstrong announced on August 23, 2012 that he would end his fight against these charges. But yet he still insisted that he was innocent of all doping violations. Immediately after the USADA announced that they would strip armstrong of his seven tour de france and the bronze medal he won at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games and was banned from cycling for life.

It makes the reader think about how many people were actually killed on 9/11 but how the rest of the world stayed the same exact size.

The movie Hotel Rwanda was mainly about a man named Paul Rusesabagina,a hotel manager who helped saved thousands of Tutsis against their rivals, the Hutus.In only 3 months the worst trgedy in Rwanda occured . Paul Rusesabagina started out joyful at the beginning of the movie being care free about the war.Until suddenly he realized that his American friends weren’t there for him.He had to figure out something quickly before anything wrong could happen to his family and the tourist who were visiting. Soon his whole mood changed very seriously as the Rwandan Genocide proceeded into a huge chaotic event that touched everyone's hearts especially the Americans who soon to be on Paul's side helping him through the tough times. The Rwandan Genocide was a huge massacre event in Rwanda where the Tutsis were being murdered by the Hutus that took place in 1994 in the east part of Africa lasting probably over 3 months with just murdering each other.Dead bodies were literally on the ground being stampeded by cars driving through.The Hutus were basically on the street shooting the tutsis like there was no tomorrow.Soon it started a problem of not being able to identify the ground anymore. Paul was a very genuine given person in the movie.He tried to help as much as possible to even letting his wife and children go to a better place while he stayed behind protecting his people in the place probably described as hell in the moment..
I had assumed that most kids would be like me, first-time tennis players. However, I was quickly proven wrong as the top varsity player hit speeding balls that flew by me. After the end of that practice I felt horrible as I realized that I was probably the worst player on the team. Heading inside to return to the locker room, Coach Smith gave us his annual "first day of practice" speech. He told us that he was not going to make any cuts.
Peeta is the boy tribute chosen for District 12. Peeta and Katniss make a good impression on The Capitol by faking about being in love. They both manage to make it to the final 6 in The Hunger Games and The Capitol decides to make things interesting by changing the rules allowing 2 tributes to live as long as they are from the same district and they win. The Capitol then quickly changes the rules back though when Katniss and Peeta are the last 2 tributes left. To win the games, They stage a fake suicide and The Capitol sees this as an act of rebillion and stops them and allows them both to win.
