Their differences may not matter very much to patients in a career output, but to other clinicians, they can specifically differentiate them. Some of these differences are: Both NPs and PAs must earn graduate degrees, all states recognize PAs; but most states recognize NPs, NPs and PAs are paid about the same, NPs and PAs are both in demand, and NPs and PAs each have a specific licensing and certification requirements and processes. The nurse practitioners and physicians assistants may seem quite similar on the surface because of the similar shared duties. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, both NPs and PAs perform the following tasks: Reviewing and updating patients' medical histories, examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical problems, ordering tests, educating patients about their health, researching the latest treatments, and technologies impacting their fields.

The needs of the clients are of minor care; if the care is major; they are advised and transported to the nearest hospital; such as those that are need of a CT or MRI. The service delivery area is typically walk-ins instead of ambulances. Although the cases that looked into are minor, but the injuries themselves can be somewhat major due to the training and experiences of the professionals and physicians on site. The professionals and physicians are trained and have experience with high volume emergency trauma within a twelve-year and more spans.

Delegation in Nursing & Health-Care Practice Nursing and health-care have experienced significant changes in the last decade. With an increasing demand for nursing staff, in combination with cost reductions, “if you want to get the job done, you have to do it yourself” cliché is slowly being weaned out. The “ability to delegate work, responsibility and authority [has become] essential for a productive staff development” as well as ensuring optimal patient care (Jones, 1996). According to the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) (2013), “delegation is a formal process through which a regulated health professional (delegator) who has the authority and competence to perform a procedure under one of the controlled acts delegates the performance of that procedure to another individual (delegate)” (p. 6). In nursing, it allows a nurse to instruct a competent co-worker or health-care member to perform specific duties in his or her place.
Abstract This paper explores how to receive an education and advance within the health informatics career. A variety of sources are combined to show the nature of the job, duties, and the salary you could expect based upon the type and location of the position. The healthcare informatics degree has been specialized over the years because of the increasing demand for credentialed applicants, but research also shows that receiving a degree in information systems and healthcare administration will cover the basic topics needed to start at entry level. Locally, the jobs available are mostly listed separately within information systems and healthcare, but there are a few exceptions where clinics want the truly educated and knowledgeable individual.
