He's father noticed that there was a strange smell coming from the basement upon which Jeffery admitted to he's dad that he brought home a dead squirrel and dissolved it with chemicals. In 1982 and 1986 he was arrested for indecent exposure. He's secound offence was for masterbating
A few months later he stabbed and strangled a woman. The young man with her survived being shot twice and provided the first clue to authorities, the assailant was an average man with crazed eyes. After the second crime, Rader wrote a letter confessing to the first murders and referring to himself as the BTK Strangler. He explained that BTK stood for B-bind them, T-torture them, K-kill them. Psychological Studies on Rader have established that even as a young child in grade school he would often fantasize about bondage, controlling and torturing individuals.
Following on from this, Gudjohnsson carried out a study involving a case study about a 17 year old boy who confessed to crime and was subsequently imprisoned for one year. Later it was found out that his confession was false and he was not guilty of committing the crime. Gudjohnsson wondered how false confessions can arise. The aim of the study was therefore to document the case of the false confession of a youth who was at the time of the confession distressed and susceptible to interrogative pressure. In 1987 two elderly women were found battered to death in their homes, their savings were stolen and there was evidence of sexual assault.
A moment later, Joel's father disappeared; he was never heard from again. Next to tell their story was Casper Gattan, which was a name that he gave himself because he had no memories of childhood. When Casper Gattan returned from an out of town trip and was coming inside through the back door, he saw someone escape in the darkness just like Joel Hetman had. The last part he talked about is that he in a dream-like state strangles his wife in bed. Finally, the late Julia Hetman tells her story through Medium Bayrolles.
Hans and Rosa began to hide a Jewish man, Max Vandenburg, in their basement until Hans made a mistake that forced Max to leave before the authorities came and found him. Alex Steiner, Rudy’s father, also made a mistake that threatened the authority of the Nazi party and he and Hans were drafted into the military. Hans broke his leg and was allowed to come back home to Molching. Late one night, while Liesel was in their basement writing an autobiography, the poorer part of Molching was bombed, where she happened to live and everyone was killed, except Liesel. First of all, the book provided me with many, somewhat random out of context, but interesting facts about what went on outside of the fictional story of Liesel Meminger.
Allie, Holden's young brother who died several years beforehand is a major symbol throughout the novel. When Holden remembers incidents from his past involving him, his attitude changes, such as when he writes the composition about Allie's baseball glove or when Holden remembers breaking his hand after punching all of the windows after Allie’s passing. "I slept in the garage the night he died, and I broke all the goddamn windows with my fist, just for the hell of it”, (Salinger 39). He feels that Allie was one of the few people who was normal in a world full of phonies. More importantly, Allie represents the innocence and childhood that Holden strives to find throughout his three-day journey.
So what happened? In hindsight, it is clear that there were signs from childhood that Ted was not as “normal” as he appeared. From early childhood, there were reports of his explosive temper. Later, girlfriends recalled him as a sadistic lover who acted out sado-masochistic fantasies in bed. There is even a report that at only three-years-old, Ted lifted the blankets on his 15-year-old aunt’s bed and was placing butcher knives next to her body.
Sidney Lumet’s first film, 12 Angry Men, is a single-room film about jury-disputing. If 12 jurors fail to find reasonable doubt, an eighteen-year-old boy will sentence to death due to the charge of being the murderer of his father. In the first vote, 11 think the boy is guilty; the one left simply thinks it is too soon to make this decision. The other men get choleric and present the evidence to persuade him. The speech not only shows their thoughts but their attitudes and prejudices.
The Headless Horseman One Halloween night these 3 boys named Michael, Astrid, and Dante were at Michael’s house. They were telling dreadful stories of the past. It was my turn (I’m Michael) to tell a story but then my Tio Oscar. He came in and was going to tell us a story of the Headless Horseman. It started 300 years ago at midnight at a little place called “Sleepy Hollow or Washington Irving”.
