Matthew Abram "Matt" Groening is an American cartoonist, producer and writer that with the help of James L. Brooks and 20th Century Fox Television developed The Simpsons as shorts in The Tracey Ullman Show on April 19, 1987. Groening was born in “February 15, 1954, Portland, Oregon, United States”. He is now 57 years old and has won 12 Primetime Emmy Awards, Groening grew up in Portland, and attended Ainsworth Elementary School Groening attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, a liberal arts school. At the age of 23 years he moved to Los Angeles and become a writer, and had few jobs that he called “a series of lousy jobs” in which he became an extra in a few series. Groening had his first professional work on a magazine in 1978 the comic was named Life in Hell.
George Lucas put together an all-start team of staff to produce Raiders of the Lost Ark. Raiders was directed by Steven Spielberg in 1981. Lucas had thought of the idea years earlier but had been sidelined in directing other movies. Producers were Frank Marshall and Howard Kazanjian. Writers were George Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan responsible for the screenplay.

In 1992, he graduated from the University of Southern California. Chbosky has written numerous screenplays, and has received a number of honors for his film,The Four Corners of Nowhere,as well as his screenplays. Chbosky is best known for his coming-of-age novel, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The book is met with both critical acclaim and criticism for supposed immorality.
Christopher Reeve was born on September 25th 1952 in New York City. As a child he had many medical problems such as asthma, allergies, Alopecia, oz good schlatters disease; causes swelling of the knees. Christopher studied acting at Cornell University and then was accepted into Julliard; a school of performing arts. He got roles in plays and movies such as “Grey Lady Down”. Later on, after he received a role as Superman.
He grew up in California as the son of farm workers. His interest in drama began early when he was six years old. He watched a teacher used part of a paper bag to make paper-mâché masks for a theater production. This experience led him to the theater. He received his Bachelor Arts in English from the San Jose State University, where he produced his first play.
He graduated in 1948 amd moved to New York where he started performing as a stand-up comedian. When the 50s came, Lynde landed arole on Broadway called New Faces of 1952 with the notariaty getting him several appearances on variety and radio shows and the 1960s brought him his introduction to film with a reprisal of his broadway role as the father in the film adaptation of Bye, Bye Birdie with Dick Van Dyke and Ann-Margaret. Major success of that film led to the recording of a comedy album and guest spts on The Red Buttons Show and The Perry Como Show. The late 60s and early 70s again brought Paul an abundance of success with appearances on popular television shows such as The Munsters, I Dream of Jeannie, and my favorite as the mischevious, practical-joke-playing Uncle Arthur on Bewitched. Children of the early 70s will also remember him as the voice of Templeton the rat in 1973’s Charlottes Web.
James Roday James Roday stars as Shawn Spencer on the USA Network original series PSYCH. Roday began his career studying theatre at New York University's Experimental Theatre Wing and graduated with a degree in fine arts. From there, he garnered a slew of New York theatre production credits both in classical ("The Three Sisters," "Twelfth Night," "A Respectable Wedding") and contemporary ("Severity's Mistress," "Sexual Perversity In Chicago") material. Roday went on to star in several feature film roles including Wim Wenders' "Don't Come Knocking," "Rolling Kansas" directed by Thomas Haden Church and the Warner Bros. film adaptation of "The Dukes of Hazzard" as Billy Prickett in 2005. Matthew Libatique's work has been turning heads recently, however, the Queens-born Cinematographer has left his mark on dozens of films since his first Indie Film Festival-winning production in 1998. Now 42 years old, Libatique got his start majoring in Sociology & Communications at California State University. He received an MFA in Cinematography in 1995 at the American Film Institute, where he met longtime collaborator, Darren Aronofsky. Libatique works with the highly cinematic director/screenwriter, Darren Aronofsky, on just about every single film he writes, stemming back from little shorts to the definitive indie breakout film, Requiem For A Dream, to the critically-acclaimed and highly celebrated 2010 blockbuster, Black Swan. While Libatique prefers to work on tight budget films, he has worked with visionaries of all calibers.
Chris Columbus; Director and producer Chris Columbus is very well known for his many successful films. Columbus was born on September 10th, 1958 in town called Spangler in Pennsylvania but he was raised in Ohio. He pursued his passion for filmmaking at New York University enrolled in Tisch School of the Arts. He worked on filmmaking for many years before his big break as a producer in one of Steven Spielbergs films. Soon after working with Spielberg, Columbus began directing movies of his own.
Some of the first directors to be granted auteur status by the Cahiers du Cinema critics were directors like Howard Hawks, John Ford and Alfred Hitchcock. Eventually the list expanded to include the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Frank Capra, Jean Renoir and many more (Brody 2013). Since then the list has expanded to modern day directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg and Tim Burton. The latter of which will be my focus for this essay.
