Perfect examples of patriots are the soldiers that risk their lives for our safety. They show passion for their country and what they believe in. Patriots can also be people like you and me who exhibit perseverance. For some of these people they can imagine George Washington in Valley Forge crossing the Delaware. For others the “I Have a Dream” plays in their minds knowing that they should always strive to do well in their society as other fine people do.
Rowlandsons’ other philosophy is that God will help her with her troubles and sorrows in life. Again she brings forth, “when though passeth through the waters I will be with thee, and through the rivers they shall not over flow thee.” Isaiah 43:2 (39). She alludes to this because she intends to show that god will protect her throughout life's natural evils. When she states “-and through the rivers they shall not over flow thee”, she is protected by Gods love, and that she can always trust in her God. This is a good quote because she is specifically giving herself comfort in the fact that, God is always with her, and as long as she has God on her side, not too much can really go wrong, which then brings about the main philosophy that, God has a plan for everyone, as long as you keep your faith in him.
He never locked the door before this very night so I knew immediately that something terrible must have happened to my master. I beat on the door repetitively and begin to call him “Dr. Jekyll,” I cried, “Dr. Jekyll are you in there sir?” After a good length of time had pasted I began to think I may have to resort to more desperate measures. The door swings open with a great force and Dr. Jekyll is standing before me drenched in sweat, with a puzzled look on his face.

Eugene Debs however wrote a speech about moral obligations.Both Thomas Jefferson and Eugene Debs's beliefs could have been based on Isaiah 41:6. In the quote Isaiah says 'Everyone helps his neighbor," that quote is similar to what Thomas Jefferson and Eugene Debs say about it being mans moral obligation to help others. In an essay written by Thomas Jefferson it says, " Nature hath implanted in our breasts a love of others a sense of duty to them, a moral instinct; which prompts us iresistibly to feel and succor their distresses".

Without war, our world would be completely different. In this essay, I will decide whether it’s possible to find peace or is war inevitable. Is it possible to avoid war? Hundreds of years of war tell us that maybe it isn’t, but is that because the people are missing something or are reaching for the impossible? War is “armed battle between different nations or states or different groups of people.” So as long as there is a conflict between nations or groups, there will be war?
Dear Diary, My husband has just departed for his business trip and I am now temporarily in charge. There are so many rooms in this grand house it is almost overwhelming. However, my husband did happen to say something unusual about the house before he left. It may be nothing, but he told me under no circumstance should I enter the room in the lowest level of the house. Of course I must obey my husband, but I have a feeling that curiosity will soon overcome me.
AKAOLISA ANADU THE CURRENT STATE OF AMERICA It was faint the first time I heard it which is why I probably ignored it. The next time I heard it there was no denying that the Commandant was calling my name. The quick turn of his head in my direction and the glaring eyes snapped me out of my daydream. As a military school student I can’t afford to be day dreaming about my upcoming trip to the United States of America especially during a drill with the Commandant in attendance. But I will graduate in a few months and travel to a country I’ve been dying to visit; a country that I’ve read about and watched in movies; a country that I couldn’t wait to be part and parcel of.
the bible teaches us to forgive others as we would want God to forgive us. But we are also taught in one of the greatest commandments to love our neighbor as we would love ourselves. And what better way to show our love, by supporting them in harsh times and providind a body to lean on. Additionally, Christians should also acknowledge global poverty by action and activity- getting to our feet, going out and doing something to change the world. Certainly it is our duty to pray for the poor but there is so much more that we can do to help.
Art is good because This pathos and ethos made people, no matter the North or the South, to feel that they are in unity. Both sides were suffering the same war and urged to end it, while they shared a same religion. God plays an important role to connect the people together, which enhances Lincoln’s credibility in his speech besides his position as a president and occasion of this speech. Lincoln ended his speech by claiming that they would “strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations” (Wilhoit 138). This pathos describes how Lincoln would care for his people and how he would put the task of helping the people suffering from the war first, serving as a strong pathos since it is not only emotionally affecting his people, but also encouraging and giving them hope.
