I use the word resilient because although the doctors, and his parents, and lots of other folks were saying that he can't do this or that; in the end he ended up being successful and completing every task they said that he won't be able to do. 3. How has Doodle’s characterization set the mood for the story? Doodle’s personality set the mood for the story because from the beginning of the text Doodle did things in spite of making his brother and family proud. 4.
When it come to my personality, in the past I always have put others before myself. I always tried to understand how someone was feeling and what they were thinking. I have always enjoyed listening to people and their personal issues and trying to help them when they are going through hard times. Also I have always been sensitive when it came to my own personal issues. I think that both of these test showed me that I am headed in the right direction in college and I will have no problem succeeding if I keep doing what I have been since day
Through the tutoring hours put into this group, I have formed bonds with students I never would have otherwise been around and the relationships with these kids and their parents have made me feel like I have had my own impact on the community. When they come to me,
Looking back, there were several poignant moments when I was struggling with my classes and would have given up trying to achieve my goals. However, I chose to endure those moments because I believe that those challenges were there for my betterment. For example, my Accounting and Microeconomics class last semester served to be one of the greatest challenges I had to go through. There came a point when I almost failed several long tests and had a low grade in several class activities. The difficulty pushed me to work harder and harder.
It seemed as if I was experiencing hell at one place and time in my life, I needed someone or something to become a safety net, a resting place, a sign of hope. I found God through all the craziness in my past and I found him to be everything I need. It seems as if I can count on him more than anyone in my life from him restoring me mind body and soul. He is the most important person in my life, he rescued me when I couldn’t hang on he told me to hold on. I believe that if he didn’t come when he did, I would literally be lost and because of him showing and making me feel that I am somebody, through compassion and overwhelming love I wouldn’t have achieved and conquered the things that I have
They are both every verbal people and their ability to verbally point out the inferiority in people and myself being their focus much of the time assures me that in most times I am on a path they are not happy with because the path that I am on is a path that they them selves have not been able to travel and complete. In the past their ability to take down my ego was mostly rooted in my past short comings even that as a child. Today my short comings are still there but they have changed and the fact that I have been able to separate myself from them has truly changed their ability to be the ego busters that they have been in the past and given me the opportunity to focus on my family, health and ability to grow as a mother and a
I know that every soul that has been in band will take their experiences and apply them to reach their lifelong goals. Overall, being in an extracurricular activity has taught me how to be a dedicated student, worker, leader, or citizen of our country. There are so many unforgettable experiences that I will apply to all that I do and achieve. Extracurricular activities are an important factor for us to reach our goals. It prepared us mentally for the upcoming “real world” which isn’t really taught in
It was an experience that I did not know how to handle. For my son and I it was very difficult and life changing. After the divorce I decided to relocate with my mother. I knew that after all she was the only person that can help me gain that strength and will power I had before this experience. I knew that I had to make changes not only for me but, for my son.
All of my magnet classes, from the beginning, taught me all the necessary things in order for me to be ready for my “job.” The teachers, especially, helped us be ready this internship had in store for us. Because I was so ready for this internship, it had a positive influence on my life. Since day one, everyone impacted me in a different way where it made me feel accepted in some sort of way. This internship really opened my eyes to things that others don’t see; those who don’t share the same passion as me. I was able to go beyond the wall of commodity and experience true friendships.
I do it because I love the sport and want to help out the community. In most of the classes the concept of being honest is always brought up, it has a major influence on my line of work. It’s a major factor because games need to be played fairly. It’s always brought and will always be a serious matter. As a student, there are many events that test your integrity in the classrooms.
