And every little action constitute to a bigger and better effect. As a youth, involving ourselves in community organizations that work to attain a better nation is important not just for ourselves but most especially for others. Through this, we will be a key in promoting the objectives of that organization. Furthermore, we should also immense ourselves to works that would make us one step closer to our goals. Each day, we have to think that our actions form part of the future that we wish to have.
Practitioners need to praise children and encourage them to succeed in their learning and give them the support they need. Practitioners need to build positive relationship with not only their key children and other children in their setting but also with the children’s parents this gives them a better chance of giving children more support at home. See appendix 1. At the setting parents can get involved and this will benefit planning for the child as parents know their children better than anyone and they will know their likes and dislikes and will be able to help them with their development. See appendix 2 .
Projects such as the Effective Provision of Pre-School Education (EPPE) and Peers Early Education Partnership (PEEP) have been instrumental in highlighting the long term impact that high quality early years provisions can have on young children. “Communication in childcare is the one of the greatest ways to provide the best care for the child on both ends - for parents and providers. Not only is this the best way to provide the best possible care for the child, but it makes for a great relationship between parents and providers” http://www.myparentime.com/articles/articleS198.shtm Training and Development Practitioners have many teaching responsibilities to children, families and professionals. Using training and development helps to develop the skills, attitudes and practices of a competent teacher. It helps practitioners to provide new ideas and thoughts about practice and to feel confident about areas of work or knowledge that needs updating.
Positive messages about their families, background, cultures and languages help children to develop pride in who they are. These messages also give them confidence to voice their views and opinions, to make choices, and to help shape their learning. The book ‘Possum Magic’ would be appropriate for Stage 1 (Year 1) students. I feel for the desired outcome this is a great age for building confident exercises and to help develop the child’s identity and to introduce an open mind thinking. 2.

CYPOP 9 1.1 Explain the importance of providing accurate and up to date information and advice to children and young people. Young people should have accurate and up-to-date information about the range of opportunities available to them along with appropriate career information, advice and guidance (IAG) and any information to help support the decision-making process. All young people are entitled to the support that they need to move into a positive and sustained destination. All young people will have frequent opportunities to discuss their learning with an adult who can act as a mentor, helping them to set appropriate goals for the next stage in learning and provide suitable IAG when required. Involving young people in planning and reflecting on their own learning through assessment, evaluation and personal learning planning is essential and this is the responsibility of all practitioners regardless of the learning setting.
Mainly because of the rewards that you get once you finish and how that can open up other opportunities. Knowing that’s its still hard work, to accomplish what your personal legend is. I plan on achieving my personal legend in many ways. Connecting with Santiago, similar to what he did but in different ways and different routes to get were he wanted to be. Those who figure out their personal legend should more likely be successful in life.
“Transformational leaders are able to increase follower self-efficacy, giving the group a ‘can do’ spirit. Followers are more likely to pursue ambitious goals, agree on the strategic goals of the organization, and believe the goals they are pursuing are personally important” (Robbins & Judge, 2013, p. 384). By evaluating and comparing my characteristics with my admired leader, Janet Mock, “People working for charismatic leaders are motivated to exert extra effort and, because they like and respect their leader, express greater satisfaction” (Robbins & Judge, 2013, p. 381). Developing those additional leadership skills and advancing the characteristics I currently possess, will allow me the opportunity to expand my horizon. Conclusion Understanding and evaluating leadership styles and theories can allow an individual to assess his or her capabilities.
Apart from the many other common reasons for becoming a teacher (“I feel a calling to teaching”; “it’s a chance to positively impact the community” and “children need good/better role models”), ultimately, I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, and that it will lead to a brighter future for myself, and my family. I’m certain people would perceive pedagogy as a career that would continually put someone through a tremendous amount of stress, and although this could be true, it is why people should be praised for deciding to pursue this profession. Teachers are responsible for shaping children, building their character, and helping them work towards their aspirations. In essence, teachers are the people who create the future. There is a current urgency for new teachers, and with these fresh and youthful minds being prepared to enter into the field we can expect a big change in the methods and techniques as well as new ideas being brought into the world of
Unit 136 Support Children’s learning and development in the early years 1.1 Understand the impact of early year’s curriculum models on the application of theoretical perspectives of children’s care, learning and development. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
