I can attest to this definition and characteristics of myself. I tend to find myself very direct that I had to learn how to put a filter before I speak bluntly. When seeking employment I find myself seeking leadership and management positions. Many times I find being overly confident in certain situations and wanting to take control of the situation. When working in a team setting I find myself wanting to start ahead of everyone else and leading the group to obtain the best results.
By working as a team you can gain valuable knowledge from those who are more experienced than you, but it also allows you to suggest newer and fresher ways to approach learning. Each member or person has their own skill and expertise, communicating with them helps you to learn, build up your own knowledge and know your own responsibilities.By working as a team you will also learn to trust and respect your colleagues, build relationships and build your own confidence. Problems can be shared and solutions can be discussed or suggested. You can learn new skills, take better responsibility of your own role and achieve your end goal more effectively. Teamwork sets a good example to others especially children and shows them they are surrounded by people who they can trust and respect.When adults are working effectively together and are working as part of a team, the children will see them as role models and will follow, copy and mimic what they see, To a parent this shows that the school are setting a good
Being a part of drill team has helped me with control by helping others in learning routines or chants with taking charge when others do not. I learned that although I am young, I am in control of my own progress, and I am the one who can change situations for better or for worse. The biggest impact my drill team experience has given me, is determination to push myself to achieve. Without the heart or skill to do something there is no progression. This experience describes the dedication I have to go to college because it showed me I am capable of handling the challenges it may offer.

Every Individual is different by nature and has varied strengths and weaknesses. Success lies in tapping each individual’s strengths and overcoming their weaknesses. As a Team, we all have to make sure to utilize each others strong personality traits and help each other to overcome and strengthen the weak points. It is easier to arrive at a solution, once you know the problem.
How do we become knowledge workers within our own organizations? Hammer (2004) suggests that we are entering an age where we will all be knowledge workers. I find some truth in that because we are always learning from our peers, our employees, and our supervisors. But it is necessary for us to know where that newfound knowledge comes from by finding its source. I am the type of person who wants to know everything and be the best at every task I perform, and doing the necessary work to identify the appropriate source of information will make that task just a bit easier.
To find that when you involve the people who are learning in their own learning, they feel empowered and will want to undertake the learning processes more and more. It also encourages all to get everything they can out of their learning. Learning occurs most effectively when individuals know that they have something to learn and want to learn it. 12. Those involved in learning need to feel involved in the process.
I let my parents know that I hear what they are saying, and if I was in the wrong about anything that I heard or may have said I always apologize to them. I also try to find ways to make our conversation better and pleasant. To keep my communication skills sharp and accurate I have to take on going trainings, and I also read as much informative information on communication as I can. I really believe that proper communication and listen will take you along ways. .
At this point I knew it was time for me to revise and asses my need and motivation to be in this field. I was doing a disservice to myself. I began to look within myself and saw that I was seeking gratification through other to make me feel good about myself. I began to seek counseling for myself which helped me to deal and cope with my unfinished business in my personal life. I began to love me and know that I am wonderful being who I am and most of all being real with myself.
Of course management is always communicating through the proper chain of command and then training the staff under them as to the changes that are occurring and providing reason behind the changes. We are always recruiting for people that are a good fit in our culture, but to be honest as long as someone can smile and make eye contact, the rest can be taught as it’s considered a cultural behavior. Of course, right now I have one that hasn’t been able to perform for quite some time, even though he follows the behaviors, he isn’t self-motivated enough to accomplish it all. Therefore, he will be leaving us soon. This structure is very successful for our organization in training and creating the culture that we want.
