Not only does it affect the lives and family of the juvenile and their victims. Because of the increasing demand on parents and/or guardians to provide for the family, there is less supervision of children at home resulting in the participation in delinquent behavior of these unsupervised children. This paper addresses the problem of juvenile delinquency and the effects of the behavior on our society today. In addition, to helping society understand how the environment, psychological, and emotional influences or lack thereof influence these juveniles to making their decisions. Outline Thesis: Because of the increasing demand on parents and/or guardians to provide for the family, there is less supervision of children at home resulting in the participation in delinquent behavior of these unsupervised children.
