Since then, he has been living with his uncle, Ian Rider. But, only a few weeks back, Ian got killed in action (this was in the first book, Stormbreaker). Since then, Alex tries to blend in again in his normal life, like a British schoolboy.
He ends up being there longer than he anticipated and the whole time Di waits for his return. He ends up sneaking back to the town, which results in him being punished by not being allowed back to that town for 2 years. After two years he comes back and teaches and never leaves the town again. The story then flashes back to the funeral with everyone walking back to the village carrying Changyu’s casket. The story ends with Yusheng teaching at his father’s school after his mom request that he teach one time for his father.
He is sent to investigate a new computer system, which Mr. Sayle has created, he plans to give the new computer systems to every school in the country, but Mr. Blunt has other ideas and Alex must find out what it is before they go online in two weeks time. Alex has to take part in a three week intense crash course with SAS commands. Pulled out of his training and thrown into danger zone as he has to battle with life or death situations. Alex has to keep a low profile and still sneak around, he is armed with his own special gadgets to help and guide him to clues. But when Alex soon finds himself in bad trouble, it seems as if his first mission could end badly.

Looking back I remember now the thoughts swirling in my head, but at that time all I remember seeing in my head were visions of my childhood. My mom is a very strong woman. After getting divorced when my brother and I were very young, she had to work 2 jobs just to make ends meet. In 2004 my brother was away in the Marines and I was living in Wisconsin almost 2 hours away. My mom was finally living life for herself, when she was diagnosed with colon cancer.

This is her worst nightmare, Richie found out and to top that Eleanor finds out that Richie was the one writing the obscene, sexual comments on her textbooks. Scared for her life, Eleanor runs to Park’s house and he drives her to her uncle in Minnesota. Once they arrive to her uncle’s, they come to the fact that they have to say goodbye.
