You wake up you're chained to a wall, like a dog in a leash. You look around and nothing is in focus, just blurred figures curled on the floor and some are crying. You feel cold, a chilly breeze flows through the room, from the bars in the wall. You smell blood, urine and vomit, lethargic and abiding. A shadow appears at the door. You look up and see a masculine figure. He picks you up but you resist, he kicks you and suddenly another man grips onto your arms while the first man unchains you. They shove you to move but you're too weak and you fall. You wake up again but this time you're barely alive. You're getting pulled to a pole with a rope hanging from the top, soon your neck is entangled to it. More men are there and yell at you, tears start to roll down your eyes. There is silence and... Snap... it's over. Dead just like that. They cut you down and that is it. You're gone. This shows you how almost every child is treated like in wars. It is insane isn’t it? How children from areas that are affected from war are just taken by terrorists and get killed for doing nothing. Many headlines read that almost 30,000 innocent children have been killed in Syria and counting. As they get punished they would lose confidence in themselves, would have a loss of security and face many violent actions. Children who get captured get treated in the worst possible ways you could imagine. The United Nations states that methods of torture inflicted on children include beatings with metal cables, whips and metal batons, electric shocks including to the genitals, the ripping of fingernails and toenails, sexual violence including rape or threats of rape, mock executions, cigarette burns, sleep deprivation, solitary confinements and exposure to the torture of relatives.
