To inform the audience that synthetic marijuana is in our community and is very dangerous. 1. Introduction A. Attention Material: It was in late July 2011, on a Saturday night when I received a phone call at work. It was a nurse from St.Marys emergency room informing me, my older sister was there and needed me to come as soon as possibile. After arriving at the hospital I spoke with my sisters nurse and she informed me that my sister was with her friends and smoked K2 for the first time and had multiple seizures and was unresponsive. Conclusion A. Final Review; Previously I went over the following information on synthetic marijuana. 1. I explained what synthetic marijuana is made of and who invented it. 2. I went over how synthetic marijuana is marketed and mainly targeting our young teen population. 3. I also told you the effects synthetic marijuana if it is consumed. B. Concluding remarks; That day in July will be a day I never forget. Not only was it scary for my sister but my family and I as well. Educate your children about the hazards of consuming anything that has not been tested and let them know that these fake marijuana products are anything but natural.
