When parents can make living-wages at one job, then that frees up time to spend with their families, which in turn would lead to more supervision and therefore safer
The introduction of contraception has led to couples having smaller families, therefore meaning that children now tend to receive more attention from their parents. Similarly, parents are also able to care for their children better due to the introduction of the welfare state and child benefits. Climbie’s case and ‘Every Child Matters’ has led to the improvement of social services and child protection, meaning childhood is much safer now than it was 50 years ago. Children are also in better health due to the NHS, meaning more children survive childhood now than ever before. All children can now receive state education up until the age of 18, meaning they are better educated and can achieve much higher in adulthood, whilst experiencing a longer period of youth.
Using league tables is a good thing as if you want your child to go to a good school, you can chose the one most suitable with good education and exam results. Schools are paid by how many children they can attract so school results and Ofsted inspection publications is hoped to make schools compete and get good results or they wont attract pupils and the funding. Different types of schools for example faith schools and academy schools are a change that also helped pupils in education. Faith schools were introduced in the 1990s by demands of Muslims who wanted their own faith schools. Different types of schools help as parents have more choice and freedom of where they want their child to go.
On the other hand there that middle class of poor that knows nothing about the system or doesn’t have the resources to get a good lawyer they are screwed completely ruin your life and affecting some people around you. Several contemporary concerns impacting criminal justice professionals are, stress, finances, the economy, their family and friends, health and job security. I say stress because so many things can stress a person out this line of work. It can be the hours of the job, the clients, the court cases, etc. Finances can be a major worry especially if your budget is tight and so is your money.
Wealthier people have their children attend “better” schools. These schools are “better” because there are more funding for the school to use on educational purposes. They can have better equipments in the classroom and hire better qualify teachers. In Mike Rose’s essay “I Just Wanna Be Average”, the author described the educational experiences of a student at a middle class school in Los Angeles. Base on Rose’s essay and my personal experience, I believe Anyon’s claim about school’s socio-economic class determines the type of instruction students receive is wrong.
As well as the professors, the parents are a huge success in the children’s success in an institution. According to Rachel Williams, writer of “Middle-class Children Do Better at School Because Of Parents,” claims middle-class pupils do better because parents and schools put more effort into their education; thus children from poorer backgrounds were not predisposed to work less hard, but parents’ attitudes were most important, making more of a difference than schools

Education to certain people is the base to every job that keeps our nation running. When people are better educated, they are better decisions maker, problem solvers and more driven to help themselves than others. There are differences between one school and the next. The wealthy have extensive opportunities to better educate their children, sending them to the most expensive schools with the most qualified teachers, the best resources and the near guarantee of a college degree and promising career. However, middle class and low class citizens have to take use of what is left over, meaning a lesser education.
It increases the support of the alumni, creating more active parents. This results in more donations if their children are enrolled in the same school they once were. With these donations, schools are able to maintain lower tuition costs benefitting the school and the students. Also, government interference would limit the tradition of the universities. It is unfair to single out legacy students as the ones who have the advantage of being accepted disregarding academics.
Investment in early child education that is affordable to all classes would, in the end work to everyone’s advantage. More people in the work force mean a boost for our economy. The subsidies coming in from the increased number of women able to work throughout their child’s early years, would immensely help the women provide more money for a better future in the sake of the whole family. The fight for economic justice is not a new movement. It’s been an ongoing battle that has furthered this planets development beyond what was ever imaginable.
