From long distance messages, to talking with a next door neighbor , to talking around the globe, communication has always been a struggle and a challenge. Within the last century our world has made huge strides in communication, with remarkable technological advances in portable communication devices. Phones have helped communication exponentially since their creation by Alexander Graham Bell. Phones have proliferated communication, but still had flaws such as distance, un-urbanized locations, and telephone lines. With the fast moving advancements in phones, scientists started making them portable and wireless. Soon after, these phones were designed with less outdated sources and were modified with the most advanced fiber optics, delivering clear and consistent service. In addition, phones have taken how we communicate but also how we use them as computers. In addition phones and other portable devices are now highly capable of basically anything. People are able to talk, surf the web, send pictures and documents for business , find destinations through geographical mapping, and more. The options are limitless. Tasks get done faster through phones because it speeds up processes that previously took day by mail or bad copy by fax machines, such as sending a document. These devices make life easier with applications that can help you research a subject or connect with friends and family. The advancements in technology for phones and other portable devices impact our lives significantly because we are able to work and communicate faster than ever.
