Immigrants strengthen the economy Undocumented immigrants not only help the economic growth of the United States but it also fulfills the needs of these individual financially as well as their families back in their countries. The tremendous amount of immigrant that arrive to the United States see the country as the land of opportunities for there families. Many of these families that migrate to the United States come from third world countries like Central America in which there is no type of progression or innovation because of the poverty, crime, lack of education and opportunities. Once arriving to the United States many immigrants are in search of jobs to support themselves and their families back home. They also come in pursue of giving a better educational opportunities to their young children.
Mexicans can smuggle just about anything across the border and upon this realization came the Mexican drug cartel boom. “The Columbians began heavily relying on Mexican smuggling prowess in the 1990’s as Columbia’s larger criminal factions dissolved into smaller groups” (Mexico’s Internal Drug War, 2006). The Columbians soon began selling cocaine at wholesale price to Mexican cartels, which caused the rival cartels (the Sinaloa cartel and the Juarez cartel) to battle over the control of the profit. “The downstream revenue is largely dictated by points of entry into the United States, such as Nuevo Laredo, and points of reception from Columbia, such as Acapulco” (Mexico’s Internal Drug War, 2006). The demand for drugs, such as cocaine and marijuana, in the United States has steadily increased in the last few decades.
A rule that does so little to protect the law as it was made. The exclusionary rule allows criminals to go because evidence was illegally obtained, but what about the victims of the crimes. It is almost a turntable and they have become a victim for a second time. I am going to discuss the three main reasons why we as citizens should get rid of the rule. One is the releasing the guilty back into society, next is the slowing down of the criminal process and the last thing is the behavior and consequence of the police officers involved in the cases.
United States is a nation of immigrants. Every year, millions of people enter the country and nearly one million people coming without authorization and overstay visas. The escalating number of undocumented immigrants comes into the country with the hope that their hard work and sacrifice will achieve a better life, yet they are breaking the law. Due to the influx flows of legal and illegal immigrants into the United States, it’s been the hot issue for every state that immigrants bring a huge impact to the nation and the lives of the Native American such as economic threats and jobs. The issue has been long debated enough, and people have demanded a change or a law, to crackdown for those responsible who disobeyed the law and allowing the unauthorized to stay and work in the country.
A Drug War with Severe Consequences In the article The Fall of Mexico, Philip Caputo underscores a severe problem that is greatly hindering Mexico as a nation and affecting its bordering neighbors. It is a war that has been ongoing for over five years, and it is the war on drugs. To be clearer, it is a battle of the Mexican government versus the deleterious drugs cartels. Drugs cartels in Mexico, which are powerful organizations that promote drug trafficking and violence, have been negatively influential on the country’s current egregious state. Because of this unending drug, the perception of Mexico, a nation which strongly emphasizes Catholic values, has quickly shifted.

People on the other side of this argument claim that immigrants help by taking unwanted jobs with very little pay, and in doing that they are helping keep the prices of domestic goods down across the country. Can immigration be really called a problem? It is likely that most people would call immigration a major problem. Even though immigrants take the lowest of domestic jobs and it is agreed that too much money is being spent to thwart illegals from trying to come into the country, immigration ultimately helps the economy because immigrants take undesirable jobs and there is no statistical evidence that immigration is harming our country in any way. In fact the opposite is the truth; there is evidence that immigration helps the economy in boosting the amount of jobs and that wages are altered in a positive way for everybody who works legally.
It is money that the government uses every day that the illegal immigrant works for in the fields, in factories under poor conditions and paid under the table by employers escaping the laws of taxation and insurance. They are just happy to be living in the “land of the free” even though we look at their living conditions as being extremely vile and inhumane.
