Job Skills Necessary for Success In society today the skills needed to be successful in today’s workforce may differ depending on careers chosen. Although, there are some expectations that are expected and remain the same, for example: being well groomed, being punctual and, having a good attitude. As with any job there are many steps to take before you are even able to show an employer the skills that you possess. Of which many employers have used to evaluate you before you even have the opportunity to sell yourself as a good candidate for the job. Many employers now evaluate the applicant’s credit report, although it does the employer no good knowing what companies you have or have not paid it tells them a whole lot about how responsible the person is; which is one of the most essential skills needed to be successful in today’s workforce.
There are many pros and cons to these deciding factors. Some cons include: reduced options, more pressure, fewer liberties & less independence. Some pros include: saving money, close to family, & able to keep a stable job. First year generation students go to college for many reasons. They want to get a great job & establish a career, make good stable money, help out the family/ bring honor to the family, & they want to earn respect.
For both works the protagonists, and some minor characters have to try and abide by the laws of natural selection by adapting to the changes in their work environment. In society the demand for a job is always high. That’s why obtaining a job has become very competitive, and everything becomes even more competitive once settled into a workplace. Competition in the workplace is normal. A worker almost always wants to obtain job security, so he/she will try to do a good job even if that means trying to do better than someone else.
Some say “money can not buy happiness.” Well someone with a decent amount of money that they worked for sure is happy. Knowing that what they did made them money and they can now do they things they want and buy the things they want. In conclusion, The American Dream is still available to anyone out there. As long as you have strong work ethic and are willing to work hard at making as much money as you can and doing the best at everything you do they it can be achieved. America still provides access to the american dream to the “tired, poor, and the huddled masses.” Be smart with your money and have some determination and the American Dream will be your American

Its making sure that they staff which are being recruited are ready to work and that they have had training. It is important to make sure that the staff is well trained form the job In order to complete the job requires. They may feel better emotionally because of the fact that they have a job; this is because they would have earned the money themselves, which to many would be a personal achievement and a ‘step up’ in life leading them to feel better about themselves. Another reason that having a job could affect them in a positive way is because they feel that they do not have to rely on their parents’ income and can spend their money how and when they want to. On the other hand work may be very hard on them which could lead to them feeling stressed or could possibly cause them to suffer from depression if work
It describes the hard working citizens of America who are not getting very far. It also describes the people who are pursuing their dreams by pushing and doing the best that they can. The American Dream is making your own money and having a good job, which offers stability. With stability you’re able to focus on things other than survival. Such as being able to experience luxurious opportunities.
Hiring within the company makes a positive statement. Offering tuition reimbursement is also a making statement “the company cares for its employees”. The opportunity to attend a high education can improve ones quality of life. The education will build confidence, employees will have the feeling of being need and willing to take the responsibility of doing what it that to get the job done, which can increase overall productivity. Employees who attend the program can introduce new idea and encourage other employees.
